Hmmm...so Jinu felt that part of the Rainbow Honmoon was consumed to heal his wound, huh? I wonder...does that bring him closer to his original state as a human, or is it a case that every time a bit of the Rainbow Honmoon is used to convert the Honmoon or heal Jinu, he edges closer to going back to his original timeline self? On another note, I'm surprised that Rumi didn't ask about any info on her dad...though it's seeming more and more likely that Rumi's father was a demon whose rebellion or escape was kept under wraps to prevent others from trying the same, therefore he's just as much as mystery to Jinu as he is to Rumi.

How would a demon "rebel" against Gwima? Its already established in this story that they cant do it without their soul and/or the honmoon because gwima controls all demons through their patterns.

How did Gwi-ma come into existence? Did he possibly have fellow high-tiers demon "siblings" that he subsumed or destroyed over the millennia? Did Gwi-ma only reach the power he possesses currently in the prior two decades, so betrayals or defections by minions at the time Rumi's parents got together were more likely? Cambrian has a lot of wiggle room with K-Pop Demon Hunters lore to create a back story for the circumstances of how Rumi was born. I mean, we're told Gwi-ma controls those he's corrupted (like Jinu) and demons he presumably created (like Jinu created Derpy & Sussie, since both Jinu & Celeste have indicated that some demons are forner humans and some were "born" demonic). But it's not hard to have Jinu be unaware of events in the past that Gwi-ma would have wanted to keep hush-hush to avoid looking weak. Hell, we could be plot-twisted and discover Gwi-ma is Rumi's dad 😉
