My main issue with comic heroes is always their refusal to kill. It would solve so many problems if they got down from their high horse and removed a threat for good instead of just putting it away and hoping it never escapes.

I went with option 2 mainly so we can get info of what Brainiac/Real Luther is doing. Because the only way for such a big change to have come from outside earth is for someone to have left earth, and their is only one candidate we know for that. As the saying goes their not dead till you see the body. And with comics you still have to question that! Also looks like we have a yandere women to deal with?

That's the Fault of the Comics Code Authority, a literal no shit communist conspiracy to destroy comics btw, back in the 50's. Before the CCA, we had as wide a breath of comics as anime does now, and the heroes of most of the stories killed. Not for no reason, but often enough nobody really questioned if they would, push come to shove. The CCA is also at fault for "Reed Richards is Useless" and "the status quo is god".

Why kill her when he can turn her. After all it kinda sounds like she's looking for a worth partner more than anything else and if Lucien should have killed anybody then it really should have been the cannibal Weylon or blackfyre, the woman who murdered her own parents for the throne of Tamaran and then sold her sister into slavery. Besides earth could always use more heavy hitters for threats like darkseid, steppenwolf, the antimonitor etc Also Grail is like a 6,4 goth chick with red eyes. Who would even consider killing her?

Went for option 2. Grail is probably looking for a suitable Mate, one that even Darkside would approve of.

Side note: I would like to know how everyone else is reacting to what's going, I mean justice league got called to themyscira on blackfires word and the enemy has been sent to the moon before they get there. I think they have some questions for her. Like Claire asking what's Code Black.

Maybe but if I remember correctly didn't her mother Myrina send her around rhe universe to either find someone strong enough to kill darkseid by testing them or eventually become strong enough to kill him herself. If memory serves, she doesn't get along with her father and everytime she's ever worked for him has been against her will.

Alternative, don't kill her devolve her. Rewrite her DNA to make her no different than a normal human woman then force this warrior-destroyer-demigod to live as a normal unpowered human. Nothing would be a worse torture for a child of Darkside than that. Maybe let her keep her longevity if you really want to twist the knife. And also Justice League rules, he can't kill her if he wants to stay on their good side.

I somewhat agree with you. But she's hot so I mean......maybe we try to fix her. Maybe she just needs to be shown a little love and compassion, among other things, to see the error of her ways.

Aaaand this take is an issue I have with most fandoms. More often than not they will try to redeem every single female villain just for the sake of smut, not really caring if they are unrepentant assholes. Character consistency? What's that? Can I get some smut now? Agh. For poor story telling there is porn.

Then go read a book instead of paying for a subscription to a guy who is known for his detailed and creative fanfic smut. Love ya Cam, never stop doing what your doing. Unless of course if you want to stop doing it. Nothing beats an artist with actual passion behind his projects.

I like the smut. I would not be here otherwise. But I prefer when it's accompanied with actually good coherent storytelling which is why Cam is one of only two patreon subscriptions I pay. My issue is the fandom often doesn't care for that, they let the smut take precedence over the story.

That, is a fair point to make. Sometimes the audience chooses an option that feels out of left field. But I still enjoy that aspect of these stories. Yes you get plots that feel a little forced, but you do feel like your part of the narrative, like you too are shaping the story. The vote hasn't always gone the way I wanted either, but I still appreciated that this is what most people wanted to read. People are just horny bastards, for better or worse. (Also thanks, it's been a crazy week and I wanted to just rant about something, even with a stranger on the Internet 😀)

Uhhhh...I think Lucien needs to remember that Earth's moon is kinda important for our planet's functionality, so maybe not go all out against Grail while near or on it? 😉 Excellent chapter! I really loved how Lucien & Claire's method of reaching Themiscyra almost instantaneously was done...and how flummoxed Hippolyta was in the few seconds we see her in her throne room before Grail is MCU Loki'd and removed to a safer location by Lucien.
