Picking the last option but I'm hoping its a 'let's grow together as a group, let's see if these women are worthy of the investment' sort of deal rather than a 'alright let's do this now' sort of deal. I like smut as much as the next guy but I do prefer real relationships over one and dones. It adds story to the story, and what's a story without story 😅

It's Darkseid, you do not underestimate this BBEG. You throw the kitchen sink and everything else at him. Once he is downed (temporarily, because death is a temporary setback for this bugger) Apokolips will have a treasure troves of info, treasures and DNA that Lucien can use to empower himself. That and proactively kicking Darkseid down should hopefully avoid some potentials bad ends in at least the near future. One the first thing your learn in the comics about Darkseid is that he is synonymous with "Someone (and everyone near them) will have a Very Bad Time" and "Well, how fucked are we ?". Best way to survive Darkseid is to be proactive about it and not give him time to start his schemes.

Picked the third with a similar reasoning. Lucian needs to power up big time and while Hypolita and Grail might come later, they have not earned the trust as of now. Lacking a proper 'safe option to throw everything, and the kitchen sink' at the bad daddy.

In universe, Lucien really has no personal stake in going after Darkseid. However, if he must, as the majority has voted so far, then he might as well empower Kori and Barbara as well for more heroic representation. (And having Batgirl of all people become a Kryptonian+ sounds amusing as hell) With that said, when Lucien defeats Darkseid, would he snatch his position in DC's wild cosmology and become a genuine multiversal being beyond the Source Wall, and thus close the gap a bit with Death?

Have killing darkseid be a long-term plan, get more power-ups encounter more exotic abilities, don't immediately jump into complex Divine politics.

While I chose the 3rd option.... even if option 4 wins, and grail tries to stab us in the back after Lucien empowers her......he can always strip her of her powers the same way he gave her the boost to begin with. Infact there is a saying for this ' what thou giveth thou can taketh away '.

The question too dangerous to provoke or too dangerous to be left alive is why you don't do half measures when stepping onto the big boy stage. You hit hard and fast and you make sure everyone knows it so you only have to hit once. Also, if you are going to use someone don't doubt them, and if you're going to doubt someone don't use them.

Grail, OK, she's honestly more powerful than anyone on earth, giving her more is basically scraps. But Hypolita? She's even less trustworthy than Grail. Why are yall even considering her, let alone so many of you?

Because she's his slave willingly. Because honor demanded it and she refuses to go back on that even when offered multiple ways out of it. Also it's a way for Hippolyta to repay him and leave his service.

Empowering Hippolyta is just stupid, she is even less trustworthy that Grail and has no personal involvement in the Darkseid situation outside of Grail.

Picked Option 3, though I see Option 4 is leading...if Lucien is going to kill Darkseid, might as well bring back-up, and back-up for the back-up. But unless there's a really good reason for doing it, let's avoid empowering Hippolyta and Grail...the latter for obvious reasons and the former? Could be made to wield such power on behalf of the Greek Gods due to their patronage...though she might be a bit salty with them right now 😉

Thats just wrong. Hyppolyta's entire culture is all about honor and duty. And apparently one of her culture's sacred missions is to stop Darkseid, thats a pretty personal stake in the situation for her.
