Weekly Update: Get Your Affairs in Order: BIG SOUP is returning (Patreon)

Hey Saucy Ones,
So I've finally done something that I've been meaning to do for ages, make EVEN BIGGER SOUP. If you haven't been around for a while, 5 years ago I made a (semi) joke video called BIG SOUP
It was a marvelous shitpost of a video that became a meme of the discord back then. I've wanted to bring it back some way and I realized it was just the thing I needed for the Abiotic Factor video. I was originally saving all my scraps from broken down chicken quarters for it in the freezer, but I realized that was stupid and I could just go get a shitload of rotisserie chickens from Costco.
Fun fact, at $110 and change I believe this to be the single most expensive cooking segment I have ever done. A good $25 of that is the pork belly though. Nothing is going to waste though as funnily enough it's cheaper to get full rotisserie chickens from Costco is cheaper than getting a bunch of carcasses from a butcher or something and that I can take off all the "good" meat and make those into easy meal preps.
The meme will live again. I took today to break down the chickens and consolidate the 6 of them into 2 bags for easy storage in the freezer so that when I'm ready to cook the rest of it things go smoothly. I'll probably do that Friday or Saturday.
Now about those videos...
Last week I haven't done anything for FNV, mainly because I've been drilling down on Abiotic Factor. I might actually decide to forgo writing any more today after finishing this post because well...
I might write up what I've done so far for the cooking segment and then just take the rest of the day to see if I can't finish up the run. It'd be a nice break from writing.
I think that another tertiary issue I've been having is that I might have been accidentally overtraining in the gym after moving my rest day around but not moving my routine around to match it. I got a little too physically burnt out and that was hindering things. I already have decided to take a break from training since Monday and with Wednesday being the new rest day I should be fine to get things going again when Thursday rolls around. Guess training so hard you're too tired to do anything includes writing in anything.
That just leaves Pathologic 3...
Yeah it's still really bad. tolerable after I spent a couple days bookmarking and reading through guides that all boil down to "yeah it's only playable if you're exploiting the game at every point possible but you gotta respect it because these guys made pathologic" And yeah, using all the exploits makes the game a lot less painful. Hell, I'll intentionally do a loop through a day that is mostly ignoring quests to trade with children until I get 4 bullets, use those 4 bullets to kite enough thugs and then shoot in the air until they all surrender, and then looting all those guys that will give me more resources than I can possibly carry which I can trade for basically everything I'd ever need. Then after a day of cheesing I just replay the day doing all the quests while zooted out of my mind and running at freeway speeds because I have multiple stacks of health potions ready to go and more waiting for me in storage.
Y'know, now that I type that all out I realize that Patho 3 is the most immersive sim-like out of all the games, but that's not necessarily a good thing.
I really, REALLY hope that this week is the last week I need to stream it to get to the end because it's not fun to play and in turn not very good to watch. Also I need a lot of throat coat tea and cough drops to get though a single 4-hour session.
That's all for now, stay saucy!
