Almost forgot to record this today and I hope it comes off how I meant it to come off. Bear with me as this isn't scripted or even outlined, it's just something I've been meaning to say.

I totally get where everyone who had to cancel or not pledge this year is coming from as I too am trapped in this economic hellscape. Do not feel the need to apologize as you have done nothing that needs apologizing for.

I'm hoping things start getting a little better for everyone later in the year and to back up those hopes I will be reactivating the yearly discount in December. Anyone who chooses to re-up their pledge or perhaps wanted to pledge but just couldn't excuse it will still get their patch and apron no questions asked. Maybe you take me up on that, maybe you don't, but here's to things getting better soon.

Thanks to this video I realized there's something wrong with my subscription. I was trusting the auto renewal and I received the receipt if the yearly subscription on my email, but It seems that I am not subscribed to the channel.

I have no regrets with pledging this year, it was my first year to pledge but I feel like it goes towards something worth while, that I enjoy and that I really look forward to. That being said, as much as I was looking forward to having an apron and patch this year, I don't absolutely need it. If it helps you to skip me this year, or if you feel like there's a patron that could get more use out of it and had to miss out on it, you can message me on here or the discord. Keep up the great work Charl, we all appreciate it.

Oh no, don't worry, I priced the aprons at the tier I do because it more than covers the costs of materials and shipping, which I have already bought and priced in. I literally ran off about 75 prints today which I'll be pressing Wednesday. Better yet a lot of the materials I use are things I don't even need to buy now since I buy stuff like sublimation ink and heat-transfer ink in bulk; I've still got plenty of stuff left over from last year. This post is less about my financial wellbeing, as of last year thanks to HiJ I have zero debts, and more about my understanding that not everyone is like me and that they might not be able to excuse such an expense right now, so I'm keeping the door open for them when they're ready.

You're definitely not alone. If people aren't unemployed they're just barely getting by. Fingers crossed things get better later in the year
