After three weird and experimental stories to start out this season, this is something much more grounded and traditional. Still pretty enjoyable though.

Say Hi to Michael Robbins - Richard Mace - who starred alongside Reg Varney in the classic ITV comedy series On The Buses.

Apparently he rewrote a lot of his lines, which did not endear him to the crew at all.

A mere fancy, sir. The lines, as they were writ, seem'd not to trip so lightly from the tongue! An actor's preference! Also, a small point, the 'unconscious' Tegan being carried by the android. Janet notices that her head is getting uncomfortably close to the door jamb and shifts her head slightly to avoid a potentially concussive collision!

Thanks for another great reaction! Am a bit late to the party this week, have had a hectic weekend! I like that you mentioned about the hark back to the previous story at the beginning of this one, it kind of takes me back to 1’s era when there were 3 companions and often the end of one story would be the beginning of the next. I like this story for several reasons. After the sheer terror of the last story, I feel like there’s a lot of light-hearted humour in this one. Tegan’s comment to Richard Mace when he ‘steals’ the wine about it not being a highway was hilarious. I really like what the character of Richard Mace brings to this story. He’s a real lovable rogue. Glad you’re enjoying it and see you next time!
