What better way to follow a show about a bastard orphan son of a witch and a robot? And yes, I did come up with that too late to put it in any of the show's reactions so I'm seizing this opportunity.

That’s pretty damn good. Makes you feel any better, I had plenty of Beetlejuice and The Witches of Eastwick quotes that I could have used, but the opportunity never presented itself, nor did I think about it. The Sweeney Todd references with Patti especially, I waited to see how the show played out. The same with The Devil and Daniel Webster, that one I had more stuff saved depending on how the Scratch business played out. When we get the Star Wars rewatches somewhere down the line, if Jess wants to, that is, I might save one or two of the Devil and Daniel Webster quotes for that. The line you used, again, tis a good one, and nice you still got the opportunity to use it.

Also, word just came that Agatha All Along was submitted to the Emmys for Best Comedy Series rather than Limited Series, so it looks like they're at least trying for a second season.

I caught that as well, so fingers crossed for more witchy goodness to come. I also just caught that the showrunner said she tried hard to include Madisynn in the proceedings, and it never quite worked out. If we get another season, I’m down for Madisynn showing up.

Nice to see they didn't try to force it in, like when the Punisher team really wanted to include Claire Temple, but finally had to accept there was no way to make it believable that she'd help Frank.

Pretty much, that was the reasoning given by the showrunner as to why the Madisynn appearance did not come to pass. That much though she wanted to include the character, they never could figure out how she would be included without feeling forced.
