I loved hearing your further Rebels thoughts. Well-spoken about Rex, and the delicate balancing act about how much to utilize Vader. It makes sense what you talked about with the hype of Khan, particularly as the reputation of both the character and the film are well known amongst even non-Trekkies. Growing up, even when I wasn’t into Star Trek, you knew about Khan, even though I didn’t see the film until my early twenties. And yes, you are correct that when they were coming up with the plot of Star Trek II, they went back and watched the show, saw Khan, and said, “That’s the guy! Bring him back!” Loved your further comments on Wrath of Khan and Search for Spock. Especially the comments on Christopher Lloyd. No worries about the opinion of Kirk as he’s least favorite of the main crew for me as well. Nice to hear Voyage Home is your mom’s favorite Trek film, by the way. I appreciated your further comments on the Spider-Man films. Concerning you brought up Twin Peaks, speak the plain truth, I haven’t seen anything of Twin Peaks, thus, am unable to comment on, with any real degree of accuracy, the fuckery therein. Onto Kill Bill, and my luck, I asked the most about that which has been the longest duration of time since you saw it. I loved how you expressed loving ambiguity on the certain aspects of stories. I caught an interview from David Carradine about the film, he mentioned something about it, saying, quote, “A playwright once told me, "Here's what you do. You take situations and you build a perfect globe with the story. The problem is that nobody gets to see inside it. So, you cut it in half, and you show half the story, then let them make up the rest of it." Because otherwise, it's opaque. If you tell them everything, they'll have nothing to think about.” Your comments in the chat made me think of that. Despite my own love of Bill as a character, I loved you reading him to filth. That’s an especially fair point you expressed about Bill having forfeited the right to convey his perspective on the whole bloody affair. I think that what you conveyed was exceptionally valid. To be fair, I don’t think Bill is necessarily aiming for sympathy points. He even says at one point, “I didn’t say I was going to explain myself. I said I was going to tell you the truth.” yet, like you said, you still weren’t having it. The expressions you made at my one question made me laugh a little too hard, and I said, “Uh-oh, I fucked up.” You mentioned at one point how you said you don’t agree with the viewpoints I raised and/or Bill’s point of view of what transpired in the film. To be clear, I wasn’t expecting you to agree, merely expressing thoughts I’ve had with the film and wished to know your own perspective. But, if I didn’t do the best job with that, and/or if I offended you with some if not all of that, I am sorry. Given one or two looks in your eyes upon reading the questions, I was actually expecting you’d yell at me more harshly than the answers you provided. I wouldn’t have even blamed you/held it against you if you did. Everything about your answers to my Kill Bill questions just reaffirms you are a much better person than I. All in all, a lovely chat, Jess, thank you.

Oh man. I forgot to come up with any questions. I have got to start taking notes throughout the month.
