Hey all! I need some advice about the MCU movies. With Loki premiering on Friday, I'm almost certain watching Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is an important movie to see beforehand as there's a certain someone is prevelant in that movie (being vague for spoiler sake) that is also associated with Loki. Now I have seen the MCU movies up to and including Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. So my question is can I record my reaction to Quantumania before seeing Thor: Love and Thunder and Wakanda Forever? Is there any big continuity aspects that I would be missing out on? To be fair, I have no clue when I'm going to fit in recording a two hour movie reaction in the next few days but that's my problem. Any advice is appreciated. Please do not post spoilers in your comments to this. I'm putting my trust in you guys, don't be silly billys. Thank you all in advance.

Yeah you should be fine watching Ant-Man

You should be fine. All three movies are pretty much totally their own thing. *Deleted something at that might be a potential spoiler* sorry about that.

Yeah there's nothing in Thor or Black Panther that crosses over with the Ant Man movie.

I’ve not seen Thor 4 nor Wakanda Forever. I’ve seen Multiverse of Madness, but that’s beside the point. I have seen Quantumania. Nothing was mentioned in it about either Thor or Wakanda, at least none that I noticed, so you should be good to go with seeing Quantumania prior to Thor and Wakanda. I am neither confirming nor denying anything about a certain prevalent character, but I know whom you are referring to, thus I understand your concern. Hope my and others’ comments have helped, Jess, and I hope I haven’t been a silly billy as you described.

I've not been a great follower of MCU films or their continuity. Of course there is the Doctor Strange origin movie and that of Thor and Captain America. I read those as a boy back in the 60s so, as they came along, I thought, "Yeah! I'll see those" I have no idea about the rest of the films. lol!

Yeah i think you'll be fine just watching Ant-Man tbh i've not even bothered watching Eternals or Wakanda Forever yet either

Over the years, I feel like you and I have had similar tastes in the MCU (although perhaps I am more obsessive and a sucker for Marvel content). Phase 5 has been meh for me. I can absolutely tell you without spoiler that Phase 5 does not require watching in sequence the way the Infinity Saga did. You can safely skip and jump around in Phase 5 as you prefer. (Is my opinion, at least)

Obviously we won't know for sure until Loki airs, but honestly I see no reason why Loki would have any major spoilers for Thor or Black Panther so I'd say you should be fine. Will you have a Doctor Strange reaction coming out after your break?

Good question, I've been wondering the same thing. I held off on watching the Loki Season 2 trailer for a few days before giving in wondering if anything from Wakanda Forever or Quantomania might be spoiled in it.

The Thinking Cat...Former Cthulhu Pofit Neo Normie and Masked fat guy but now a Cat ??

You can Skip Wakanda as it's probably the most boring of the Marvel Movies as dull and slow as Secret Invasion and just as non Fun actually the more important to multiverse concepts are the Spiderverse movies and the last season of Spider-Man the Animated series 1995, and really the thing Loki reminds me of more then marvel is actually Wes Andersons Asteroid City and The French Dispatch

Trust me don't skip Wakanda Forever( I know you weren't anyway, but that had to be said)
