"You must have been born under a particularly favorable conjunction of celestial circumstances.", Organon, "The Creature from the Pit" Last time I mentioned that I should watch "Catweazle" again (due to the appearance of Geoffrey Bayldon) - and I did. I've rewatched the first few episodes so far. It's made for children but it was ok to watch again. And of course being a British show from the 70s there are actors from Classic Who. I had forgotten Neil McCarthy was in it. He played Thawn, the refinery leader in "The Power of Kroll" and much earlier Barnham, the prisoner who was subjected to the Keller Machine in "The Mind of Evil". "And did she put the welfare of the struggling people above her own petty power? No! She's tipped the ambassador into a pit and threw astrologers at him.", The Doctor, "The Creature from the Pit" I hear an echo of a line from Hitchhiker's where the Great Circling Poets of Arium would lie in wait for small bands of unwary travellers, circle round them and throw rocks at them. In terms of the K9 props, they had the standard K9 prop with batteries and motors and radio controls that could drive around on the floor of the studio, and then a much lighter one with nothing inside it which was just used for carrying around. You can actually see the difference here when they cut from a very dusty, wolf-weed-attacked light-weight K9 prop to a close-up of the standard one. I liked it when the Doctor put a lump of cadmium in his pocket - well, of course he does. The use of different voice for Erato was nice - especially when K9 is connected to the communicator. "I thought you were dead! Why haven't you died", "I'm sorry, my lady. It was an oversight", Adrasta and Organon, "The Creature from the Pit"
