Start with the most important part of the episode, season, show if I’m being honest. The pure joy that you had seeing Mobius on a jet-ski the day you have the Mobius on the jet-ski saying “WOW!” shirt. I could see it in your eyes just how much you loved that, Jess, and it was so glorious, and I stand behind your taking pride in the outfit planning being on point. A good episode of Loki’s gathering of the pens preventing pastafication of existence. I knew you’d appreciate B-15 being a doctor. Interesting historical tie-in with Casey. I was quite taken by the idea of O. B. as an aspiring science-fiction writer. Most amusing of Loki with the “DRAMA though”, as you put it. I share your liking how Loki is self-aware of the selfishness of his motivations, and how it’s not necessarily the worst thing. Many of the greatest achievements in human history have begun through selfishness. It's also subtly explored by O. B. He desires to become a writer, presumably to attain fortune and glory, but then Loki gives him the new purpose, and through the skills he attained ostensibly for selfish reasons, he finds... illumination. Striking seeing Sylvie realize how her actions caught up with her, leading her to think, “Uh-oh, spaghetti-o’s”. I liked too how Loki calls out the contradiction of if she is so in favor of choice and free will, then those of the TVA still deserve the choice to stay there if they want. Right or wrong, it’s their choice. Lovely reaction, Jess, thank you so much. In terms of hopes for the season finale, I just hope the season finale is a finale that you will love.

Can Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan (and yes, I do call him that every time now) please stop playing guys who lose the love of their life and struggle to put on a brave face? I don’t know how much more of that I can take.

Maybe if Ke and Phoebe Waller-Bridge got their own Indiana Jones spin-off, they could give Short Round a healthy and happy relationship there to balance it out. Or just in general, yes, going forward, we can stop subjecting Ke’s characters through that trope. A man’s heart can only take so much.
