This is why I am so happy you are watching this series before Ahsoka and totally supported that decision. Kevin Kiner has really become so intrinsic to the music of star wars in modern terms he is a true inheritor to what John Williams laid down. Love the first episode because it is a pause point as you said to allow each person grieve as they could. I learned something today I had NEVER noticed before. The piece Hera adds to her Kalikori to represent Kanan was a part of the Jedi holocron.

Oh 4x11 & 4x12 are good episodes but I also hate them lmao 4x11 is the crew grieving over Kanan’s death while 4x12 is figuring out what the Empire is truly doing on Lothal which was alluded to back in Season 2. Kanan’s death is still so sad to get over 😭

Oh, by the way, just remembered that you gave the update on Ahsoka. You say that there will likely be a two-week break following the conclusion of Rebels prior to the first reactions to Ahsoka being uploaded. I hear you say that, and I nod, “An agreeable strategy.” I look forward to the reactions with great interest, but however much time you need, take it, Jess. We shall be patient.

Yeah, a break is totally understandable. it's good to have some time to digest all of Rebels and it's various meanings before moving into Ahsoka. There are episodes that took me a couple rewatches to fully understand everything that went down. Most of us have had years, the least we can give is 2 weeks.
