Graham Crowden - here playing Soldeed - starred in a sitcom called Waiting For God as Tom with Stephanie Cole as Diana, who were two spirited residents of a retirement home who spend their time running rings around the home's oppressive management and their own families. Coincidentally, the actor who played the home's manager, Daniel Hill, is in the next story. The Nimon are mentioned in The God Complex as related to the minotaur creature trapped in the complex. Doctor's quotes of the week: "Have to noticed how people's intellectual curiosity declines sharply the moment they start waving guns about? . . . Shush. You just hold the gun steady. Don't tax your mind."

Thanks for another great reaction. I have to say I really like the characters in this, albeit they are incredibly dramatic! The two Children / adolescants with speaking roles are also very good. The Girl is played by Janet Ellis, who became fairly famous in her own right, being one of the hosts of Childrens TV show Jigsaw and later the long running show Blue Peter. Her daughter is the famous singer/songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor. See you next time!

I do hope "Shada" is the next one. Some people (e.g. Robert Shearman and Toby Hadoke) insert "Shada" in the VHS video release order (i.e. after Season 26) in their Who marathons.

Fingers crossed on that. I've noticed Jess is usually very up on making informed decisions via one or two that help out with her channel. For instance, someone blanked out guest star names for her in the 50th. She'll certainly be aware of Shada.

i thought I recognized Janet Ellis, though her name escaped me at the time and Sylvester McCoy was also in Jigsaw.

Good news! over 600 episodes of Classic Who just dropped on Tubi. That will make it easier for us, at least us here in America, to rewatch along with you rather than depend upon ancient, dusty memory.
