Now Tom really does look like Old Father Time. What next I wonder? There's an outtake of Tom's opinion of the helmet along the lines of . . " . . and then I throw this stupid f.....g thing so let's just get on with it!! . . etc.

Glad you enjoyed this story. They do tend to throw a lot at you in the final episode, but I like it nonetheless. There is definitely a tenderness between Hardin and Mena. I also feel the episode looks more modern than previous stories with lots of hand held camera work and televisual tricks.

Thank you for a wonderful reaction. I love this story for the endless twists & turns and for pulling the unexpected out of the bag during the latter parts. I agree that there was definitely something between Hardin and Mena. Dr Who dealt with romances so subtly - it always remained such a Taboo subject in Classic Who! I recall watching this when it originally aired and being utterly perplexed by the part where the Doctor created multiple Tacyon images of himself. I couldn't work out what had occurred. Yes I've seen that. Also a previous outtake during the Key to Time series when he asks K-9 a question he doesn't know the answer to, with Tom retorting 'No, you never fuc*ing do when its important!'. Tom was notoriously difficult to work with and if he was having a bad day, everybody knew about it lol!

I caught something recently that says that the new season of Doctor Who might, I say might as I don’t know the source of the information, might be airing sometime in May, which is consistent with the initial announcement saying that it would premiere in the spring. Just information to do with however you see fit, Jess.

Oh. Ok. I didn’t see the trailer. I’m with Jess in that the Doctor Who trailers spoil too much. Only caught the text at the end of the special that said, “Spring 2024”.
