Thank you for taking ab the wan shi tong cameo. I hate it. It makes absolutely no sense in the world. I should've been the dickhead monkey from siege of the noth part 2

I liked being able to comment weeks in advance on an unlisted youtube video. Felt like a secret club lol I understand why vimeo is a thing though

Fabian Röling

The name reading at the end is a lot quieter than everything else.

TYGROSKY

Hell yeah vimeo time

Wan Shi Tong being there bothers me so much, because his whole thing is that he never leaves his library + he is taking uncharacteristically active role by guiding Aang and telling him what to do. This does not seem like something he would care about. This is just human business in his eyes.

Rocobop Avodaco

they wanted to shove in the greatest hits even if they didn't make sense, thinking it's what fans want

bknor

maybe not totally dead inside. perhaps you may be slowly dying inside

I remember watching this episode and being like: "why are they running? did I miss something?" annd going back to the previous episode to see if I missed an ending, but not, its just that weird chase scene. The series feels way too rushed honestly

Talya

this is by far the worst episode of the show. there's barely any saving graces. it's so bad.

@02:23 The map shows red lines for Earth Kingdom territory that is under the control of the Fire nation, the 'colonies'. Zuko is pointing right at the spot where the gang would be flying to be 'crossing fire nation territory soon'. Thank you for your time doing these!

the constant instant replay on kya’s death is so foul. 😭🤣

Was hoping for the change of Koh's bad math 800-900 years line. We got it, but at what cost.

This show is the definition of Tell didn’t Show

TheLithp

Imagine if Yon Rha just...didn't blast Kya. Like he was too slow, or he decided to dodge instead. Or even if the blast didn't immediately incapacitate her. He'd realize she moved like she was about to waterbend at him, but then she never actually waterbent. I don't know whether to call it lucky that Kya's plan went off without a hitch, seeing as it got her killed, but still.

Remember guys. Ever since Disney took over modern media, the new basic rule of story telling is 'Tell don't show.' You don't need to put in the time to make a good put together movie because you'll turn a profit anyway. Who cares about making good product if you'll get paid the same either way, and don't have to put in the same amount of effort. It's sad, because the age of good television is behind us, but it's just what happens when modern technology makes it so that any terrible script can turn a profit. There's no point in story boarding for a year when you know that story boarding for 10 minutes in Chat GBT will still make you money.
