I don't like what this season retroactively does to the avatar world, but I really have a soft spot for the attempt to do a more mystical and spiritual season than the others.

Mike &/or Bryan mention somewhere they used this season as an excuse to redesign the Southern Air Temple since they were never happy with it. Logically, Mako was going to say "looks like there IS room for two," continuing the joke that Bolin thought he was going to cuddle with Eska but she actually just wanted to sit with her brother. I wouldn't exactly say Mako was ever super pro-Boleska, but either way, he's the older brother, & therefore, going to be a dick about it. Wow, not many brave enough to give props to Studio Pierrot. He's not a firebender. That's a torch. The barbarians' armor is similar to the armor of the trebuchet operators during the invasion who, according to Art of the Animated Series, were mercenaries. So, the barbarians are likely some tribe that really hates the north. Well, spiritbending is a newly-discovered technique, & you can't really have those if you're limited to things that were introduced already. Regardless, I maintain that spiritbending follows from it being established that water can channel chi. If it can do that in the human body, why couldn't it do that in a spirit? While it's a neat idea that the airbenders predicted Harmonic Convergence, it seems unlikely because one of the novels says the statues are actually moved when a new one is added, & Kuruk invented an airbending technique to make it easier. The Avatar State increasing physical strength is consistent with the fact that she uses it to snap a platinum chain in half in Book 3. It never really had a reason to come up in the first series.

I also thought this was the southern air temple at a different angle, The big spire rocks are behind the temple in ATLA, So maybe the tower is that long it's just obscured by the mountains in a different angle

The outro says "Two more videos from me" and not "the first two episodes of season 2" so it looks like no more Korra, I hope we get more Korra

That would imply the towers only have the spiral designs on one side, which seems unlikely, & the rooves are definitely different.

I’m glad you mentioned the animation style being different. I noticed it years ago when it aired, but everyone I watched I was watching it with didn’t. Glad to know it wasn’t just in my head

Hey man I really appreciate the Korra uploads. I think if you’re reluctant to do the rest of the season, you should split it up. Do more videos like the overanalyzing bigfoot/ghosts/aliens, those videos really showed more of your creativity and seemed really fun for you. I would love more stuff like that from you. It would help split this season up for you which may make it easier to cover it. You know we all want to see all of Korra but nobody wants to see you force yourself to do it. Split it up so you don’t do it all in one sitting

I could see an argument for the avatar state giving strength. During Aang's battle against Ozai, when Aang gets hit in the right way to unlock his chakras he starts to physically manhandle Ozai in a way that might be due to Ozai's surprise, but could easily be argued that he's showing more strength in this moment that a 12 year old of his build should have.

Hopefully we see more Analyzing Korra. The series really does get better as time goes on and I really want to know your thoughts on the rest of this season since most consider it the "worst".

I feel like the spirit bending is some form of water healing and the spirits are the ones that turn the water gold, not the water benders. Also please make the rest of the series. I absolutely love these videos

No matter what content you make, I’ll still watch it. Overanalyzing avatar to me has been so much more than just a fun look at my favorite cartoon. It is a shared love of the story that brings us all together. Beyond that, I have loved your other content, and I think what makes it special is that you pour your intense passion into it all. The Bigfoot, aliens, and ghosts videos are all amazing, and I would definitely watch more content like that. Even if you go in a different direction than overanalyzing something new, I’m sure I will enjoy it if it is made with the same passion that the rest of your content is. Love your work, and am grateful to have it shared with us all
