I've said before that I wasn't surprised by the contents of the lawsuit, horrified, disgusted, angry yes, but not surprised. Unconsciously or not, the way the narrative deals with sexual violence reflected the careless attitude that prevailed in Blizzard's offices for far, far too long. If you're going to write about this kind of thing, you need to ask yourself who the focal point is and why, because far too often the focus will not be on those directly affected, it won't be from the POV of a survivor, or the child of a survivor.
