Hi,

the last two days I was continuing running tests with Blender and DAZ characters placed in environmental scenes and I learned quite a lot:

never ever work in not real life scale in blender. It is a nightmare to combine a figure and a landscape that have been made at different scales. So I reworked my beach scene to full scale, around 50 by 50m at 1:1

import landscape masters and character master only as linked objects into your cutscene setup file. That way the scene file you work on remains small (5 MByte) instead of 190 MByte containing all the master objects geometry. I keep the masters (Nimhe, Landscape, e...) in exactly one file I link to

once the figure is in the scene it can be nicely posed, shape keys can be used, camera can be freely moved and all that with full scene render times of 1.5 minutes (15 minutes in DAZ...)

And for everyone who called out her latissimus: the linked object setup also allows to make mesh shape deform keys and they instantly become available to be used in the linked scenes. I made a shape key that anatomically correctly squishes her lats in that pose ;)

Enough talking, here are some different camera angle shots from one scene I made with Nimhe to test it.This will make cutscene generation in future much more efficient.y.v.

Must be cold on that beach, maybe breezy.

Where can I catch a boat to that beach?
