Hi,

today I was continuing with Blender experiments. I found that Blender allows to layer different scene instances. So I can e.g. take the imported Nimhe, pose her, layer the Lizard Beach starting scene into the same file and spin it around, change camera angles and render, all with very low effort.

I made a few view changes (banner, two attached images, ...). Every image including background rendered within 1.30 minutes. 10 times as fast as with DAZ. Also I can add post effects (glare effects, ...).Fitting of clothing is also better (look at the panties...)That looks promising. I hope you agree ;)y.v.

i am sorry but what is poking out under her shoulders?

y.v.

Her Lats? She is physically well trained :) Looks a bit pronounced as her arm is pushed back and rotated to the rear

y.v.

also that reminds me of a quote in an old movie review of Conan the barbarian: Arnold Schwarzenegger has muscles in places where other men don't even have places in...

So what I'm hearing is, better quality images and possibly more of them than expected.

Hmmmmmm I have to concur, that's a bit too much - even with the conan argument, the armpit/upper arm is never behind the latissimus dorsi...

AndrasV

Niiiiice! is it intentionally low-res?

y.v.

its is 1920x1080. Does it show lower res for you? Remember: I come from a time when 320x256 was low res :)

y.v.

It is partially, if the upper arm is rotated backwards. As the image pose is from a low angle the effect is enhanced. This is the same nimhe I've been using for 3 years now ;)

Somewhere along the way, it turned into 820×461... at least that's how Patreon showed it to me in Firefox. True, though — everything is high-res compared to the ZX Spectrum's 256×192 screen. 😄

I checked it. It is definitely 1920 x 1080. Maybe use the app or try another browser and access the image again.

AndrasV

Switched from Win10 + Firefox to Win10 + Edge. Opened the picture, then opened it in a new tab and saved it again... Same result: 820×461. With Edge, I even got a complaint about the wrong file extension: ".png" vs ".webp". 😄 So it looks like Patreon is serving me a resized WebP version somewhere along the way.

AndrasV

Sorry for bothering you — I guess it's just some Patreon magic... 😄 Compression: WEBP (lossless) Original size: 820 x 461 Pixels (16:9) Current size: 820 x 461 Pixels (16:9) Original colors: 16.7 Million (24 BitsPerPixel) Current colors: 16.7 Million (24 BitsPerPixel) Number of unique colors: 99715 Disk size: 259.43 KB (265,566 Bytes) Current memory size: 1.08 MB (1,134,100 Bytes)

The downsizing is confirmed. that sucks. I guess posting jpg is better as those remain untouched. Sadly, I already deleted the test file i used for the renders but I'll make a bunch more full-sized ones when the next test comes up...

I feel your pain but it is about the inability to unsee the seen :)
