Chapter #22: Lost and found.

Malfoy couldn’t believe it, this situation didn’t make any sense, just a few hours ago he was going to get rid of Susan forever as he was planning to have her murdered in her cell alone in Azkaban by one of his loyal girls who got caught selling climax potions but still refuses to snitch, sending her to Azkaban was his only opportunity to have her away from Potter so he could finally strike and get rid of her.

Not only did the sentence fail but also, the deal that was going to make him a billionaire in just a few months was completely shattered, his people were on the way of getting locked up on Azkaban, and to make things worse, Marco is getting arrested too, if people abroad get to know about this, his life could be in danger as they could think he sold them out.

“Dragon…What the fuck is this man? You told me we were hidden by the fidelius charm!” Mendez was angry.

“I was, I swear I did everything in my hands to keep us safe, I don’t know how the heck they managed to break the protection!” Malfoy was angry too.

Then an elf popped in, it was Kreacher, and Harry soon walked towards the old elf.

“Malfoy…After my godfather was killed, you made fun of his death, your favorite aunt conspired his death in this place, you brought Kreacher here, and house elves are immune to the effects of the fidelius charm; that’s why Dobby was able to save us during the war, even though the place was hidden under that charm,” Harry told the blonde with a smirk on his face.

Draco couldn’t believe it. Potter was right, the elf was here a few years ago, he was there when his aunt planned Sirius Black's death, and to make things worse, he made fun of Black’s death, so the irony and karma took a long time, but all those things finally came back to bite him in the arse.

“No…No, this can’t end like this!” Draco snapped.

He grabbed Susan from the neck, and soon, he was behind her, his wand on her head.

“One movement and I’ll blow her head, not even magic can save someone from something like that…I swear I’ll do it!” Draco demanded with an angry expression.

There was a vein in his forehead that made him look like he was going to explode at any moment. In different circumstances, he would've laughed at him, but this was a serious threat. Harry couldn’t believe it. This coward was going this far to avoid his punishment; he had them in control now, there was no way he was going to sacrifice Susan, and he knew his friends and the rest of the team were in the same boat as him.

“Harry…Do it, don’t worry about me, don’t let him get away!” Susan’s words suddenly shocked everyone.

Draco couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“What the…You’re just bluffing, there’s no way you’re sacrificing yourself just to punish me…What would father say? He would be disappointed in you for not helping me and also…He would hate that his sacrifice would be in vain; that’s what you want? To make his death be in vain?!” Draco was on the verge of tears.

If there’s one thing people fear the most, it's those individuals who have nothing to lose, and right now, Susan feels like that; she’s willing to go this far just to make him pay.

“Just help me escape and—” He whispered, but she didn’t listen.

“Do it, Harry…Arrest him!” Susan demanded.

Everyone was now looking at the emerald-eyed wizard. He was silent for a few moments. They knew about Harry’s ruthless reputation, someone who always strived to make criminals pay, but it was ridiculous to think he’d sacrifice Susan Bones, not only because he was somewhat in love with her but also because that was the right thing to do.

“Well, if that’s what you want, I guess there’s nothing else I can do,” Harry soon raised his wand.

“No…No!” Draco soon screamed and decided to let go of Susan just so he could run; he needed to get away from here.

However, as Harry caught Susan in his arms, he launched a spell towards Draco. The blonde was shocked as the spell hit him; however, he quickly realized that he was fine.

“That attack was too weak, Potter. See you suckers!” Malfoy said with a smirk, and soon he apparated away from this place.

“No…He’s gone!” Susan couldn’t believe it.

“Don’t worry…He won’t be for too long,” Harry declared before he got ready for what was coming.

“Listen to him, Susan, he knows what he’s doing,” Ron said with a grin.

“Well, I'd better get going before he leaves the country. I’ll contact you guys once I capture him,” Harry got ready to apparate.

“Wait, Harry…Please take me with you!” Susan suddenly decided to speak.

Harry looked at her with a perplexed expression.

“He played me around Harry…I can’t let him go unpunished; it’s because of him that Lucius died. I don’t care if he hates me in the afterlife, but…I can’t let this go easily, Harry,” she declared with a determined expression.

Harry remained silent for a few moments. He spoke with Hermione, who was coordinating the arrests, and somehow, after taking a look at the redheaded witch, the bookworm agreed to her proposal.

“Very well, let’s go, but if you think it’s too much for you, don’t hesitate to call it quits, this is a dangerous situation, we’re dealing with a dangerous criminal who wants you dead Susan, so, it’s not a shame to retreat if you feel the situation is too much,” Harry’s words were calculated and serious.

The redhead knew this could be a very dangerous situation; however, she was motivated to make Draco pay, so she nodded, and soon, they were teleported to another place.

“What the…” Draco said in the middle of nowhere as he saw Susan and Harry.

Both Susan and Harry just tried to get out of the state of confusion after apparating, but they were still determined.

“It’s time to surrender, Malfoy!” Harry demanded, but the blonde apparated away once again.

“Fuck…Let’s go, Susan,” Harry apparated again and followed Malfoy to the next location.

This time, they were on top of a building, and once again, the blonde apparated away. Then they landed in a place filled with brooms; it was a hangar, and there were many boxes ready to be shipped.

“I don’t know how the fuck you manage to follow me, but this is ending here!” Draco spat angrily.

It’s clear that his plan of escape was completely destroyed by these two, but now that they were in his domains, the people who worked for him were more than happy to protect their boss. Soon, he became the most protected man in the country as almost thirty wizards decided to appear.

“Well, it seems like we’re going to need to get our hands dirty, Susan. Do you think you can help me defeat these guys?” Asked Harry with a calm expression.

“Yes…Let’s do it together,” Susan declared, and soon, spells were shot by all people involved in this fight.

Draco, on the other hand, was too tired to teleport; if he did it again, he knew he was going to puke, and people were too focused on the battle to realize what he was doing until it was too late.

“Harry…He’s escaping on a broom!” Susan said with a shocked tone.

“Well, it’s time for us to join him. It’s been a while since I’ve flown, but I'm confident in my skills." Harry used his wand to make his Firebolt appear.

Then Hermione and the other team of investigators raided the area and defeated most of Draco's followers. The blonde, on the other hand, decided to escape on his broom, but he wasn't alone; other wizards were flying in groups to protect him.
