Just a note on the audio - I tried to clean it up as much as possible but if its particularly difficult to understand me lmk, I had to film with the fan on and some windows open, its too hot!

I love that game so much! With your eyes for catching details and analyzing situation, I already know this is a playthrough I am gonna love: watched the first 30 min like it was 5... instead of working, what I should be doing, hum hum.

Julian

This is gonna be a fun playthrough, I can already tell 😄

So much new content and I'm so far behind! It's one of those good problems to have. 🙂

Maybe if we try hard enough we all could collectively wish for a magic bubble of 22°C air to envelop your recording room. Wish! Wish!! Wish!!! Did it work?

I knew nothing of this game, haven’t seen a play through to even a trailer, certainly raises some interesting questions so far anyways, only 30 mins and so far the humans are annoying me the most…. Am I an android? Haha

Capt Doug

Also audio seems fine on my end

Oooo this is going to be a good one. You immediately noted the difference about how a human and an android might behave which is something I haven't seen on a playthrough of this before. Also super cool to hear your thoughts about the impact they have on this game's society and how some of that mirrors our situation. It will be really interesting to see what decisions you make in this game!

I really enjoyed this game, but overall I found it kind of depressing…

It's really cool to see you playing this, it's definitely going to be an interesting ride. I feel like Detroit gets a bit of a bad rap because the way they approach some of the sensitive subjects the game raises is about as subtle as a rhino running around a Greggs, but the amount of work that went into the game to make it so unique to every player is astonishing.

Yes I had oatmeal please put me down ma'am Let's goooo, this is gonna be good! This thing is incredibly well-made in some ways and absolutely bonkers David Cage garbage in some others, which imo makes for at the very least a highly interesting experience. It seems to hold up very well graphically, too.

Chris Dewing

Also, and apologies if I'm out of line by saying this, but regarding the flow charts - a lot of the stuff that looks like it's "missed" is essentially because you didn't miss something. Like switching on the birds, there's a path that generates because you did, but also a different path that you would have taken if you didn't.

Flukemarm

I can't wait for you to experience the delicate subtlety of David Cage's social commentary.

I'm so thrilled you're starting this series. I played Indigo Prophesy and Heavy Rain along side my dad when I was a teen, then played Detroit long after I first moved out. If commiseration brings you any comfort, I'm also going through a very rough life transition at the moment (though in my case went with moving into a 150sq ft studio apartment rather than moving back in with family, but I'm also living the no AC life). This is all just a way for me to say thank you for being such an earnest person and giving folks like me a brief outlet of joy. Que sera sera, nowhere to go but onward!
