Here's a playlist of some more parts for the Detroit Playthrough (instead of multiple posts, just decided to deliver them as one). I cant get part 6 to export which is annoying lol, my pc upgrade hasn't arrived yet so hopefully that helps when it does if I cant get it posted today!I've been considering publicly posting it all as a One and Done video actually... I have received a couple of heads up from others that have covered the game that the videos in the Detroit playthrough may be heavily disliked lol, wonderful, which has scared me off a bit as I don't want it to affect the ClObs playthrough in any way - as I am proud of that so far! Thought I could contain the damage to one video and just move on, haha.I will write more details for the plans for the channel going forward in a new post later on, but I do think I want to change things up a bit. Detroit become playlist eh? Personally I'm enjoying them - I don't know why anyone would have beef with it other than maybe because there's so much that gets missed when you choose one option over another that play throughs are inconsistent?

There are a lot of political messages and opinions baked into the game, and especially in US these opinions are not popular Also there one part with romance between 2 androids, and for reasons you will see later some people dont like it

Just wanted to add some clarification. I am only now learning about this (or forgot), so I am not an expert. I just saw some people discussing this in vague language which could be interpreted in conflicting ways. From Wikipedia (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Cage): "In 2018, Quantic Dream was involved in a lawsuit with Le Monde and Mediapart, accusing the studio of fostering a toxic workplace, after it was found that one of the employees had been photoshopping pictures of other employees. In April 2021, Quantic Dream won an appeal overturning a July 2018 ruling in favour of a former employee who sued the studio.[17][18] It was later alleged that Cage said that all the female characters in his games were "whores" and that Quantic Dream "didn't make games for fags".[19][20] Cage denied these allegations by saying "I have never said or even thought such things. I fully understand people were shocked by seeing those words, and I am deeply sorry for the pain and confusion they have caused to women and the LGBTQIA+ community. The quotes are abhorrent, and they do not reflect my views, nor the views of anyone at Quantic Dream." Representatives of LGBTQ+ employees at the studio defended Cage, stating that deeply hurtful and misleading perceptions "do not reflect [their] everyday lives at work".[21] "

Seeing you playing this reminded me I was waiting to forget the game so I could play it myself. I guess I have to wait until the 25th anniversary edition or something now 🫠 I am playing Beyond: Two Souls instead.

Slouching Amber is such a mood at the start of part 6, haha. I'll pray for you if you ever get to The Walking Dead series. Those dudes can't handle it if you don't play it their specific way. If you don't make the same choices as they do? Whew! It's like you slighted them personally. I just don't understand that line of thinking.

Just finished episode 7 and I loved the playthrough! I love hearing your thoughts on all the choices and general concepts of the androids (even all the discussion of empathy that got some flak for some reason 😜). And I saw what you did with that LED effect throughout the video, that was clever, haha

Another very good playthrough 😊 I knew about Detroit Become Human and watched a let’s play here and there, but never the full game. I think the game starts out asking some very interesting questions, like how far we can go with technological advancement and how it affects people (surely, it’s no coincidence the game is set in Detroit, mirroring the rise and fall of the car industry there), what it means to be alive and where the boundry lies between living and not-living. The shift towards a focus on racism, discrimination, slavery and equal rights - which is sudden and obvious, but also creeps up on you - seems misguided and disrespectful towards those issues as well as current and past movements: non-humans being treated as non-humans is obviously very different from actual humans being treated as non-humans. Also, Markus is Jesus Christ, Neo and Martin Luther King in equal parts, but his story feels like a villain origin story and it did not gel with me at all. I found the romance with North out of place and severely uncomfortable, and to me it really showed the author’s hand. You had very good insights and fun edits, and I would recommend your playthrough to any and all 😊
