Simple Lighting Techniques (Patreon)

Hello my Beautiful Bluebells!

I've just finally gotten my voice back in the last couple of days so I've been able to record the voice-over for our latest lesson video, but you might notice that I sound a bit raspy!

I wanted to share how I add really simple lighting effects to my illustrations with just a few easy layers. I've recorded the process in Photoshop but it's not a tutorial about the technical steps in Photoshop - you can do the exact same thing in Procreate or any other drawing software.

Lighting can be subtle or it can be really strong, and it's a nice way to level up your illustrations without too much difficulty!
