Hello again Beautiful Bluebells!
I've just finished this month's lesson video and this one is about my full digital art process all the way from writing down some prompt words to having a finished digital illustration. This is a really typical process for me, although I don't always sketch out compositions in pencil first, sometimes I just go straight to digital sketching.
After seeing a cuuute bunny in my garden I had to have bunny (or rabbit) as one of my prompt words and I thought they'd go well with some strawberries and flowers. I decided on a simple composition but I think they still look super cute!
I think I spent about 15 minutes sketching in pencil, and then between 45 minutes and an hour doing the digital illustration. That doesn't need to be an indication of how long your illustrations should be taking you though, you could spend way less or way more time drawing than that!
I've attached below the two brushes I use for the sketching and the base colours as those are my own, so feel free to use them in Photoshop or Procreate. And here are the links to the previous videos for easy access to any you might have missed:How To Add Depth To Your ArtHow To Use Colour and Make Colour PalettesHow To Add Highlights and Shadows To Your ArtHow To Create an Interesting CompositionHow To Apply Texture To Digital IllustrationsJuly Drawing Walkthrough - Flower GardenJune Drawing Walkthrough - Cosy CottageMay Drawing Walkthrough - Girl In The GrassApril Drawing Walkthrough - Girl CharacterMarch Drawing Walkthrough - Kitty In A Teapot
