Drawing Snapshot - Strawberry Bunny (Patreon)

Hello my beautiful flowers!

I wanted to share with you a little breakdown of this illustration I did that I'll be posting to Instagram tomorrow or Tuesday. I drew it last week as part of this month's drawing lesson for Beautiful Bluebells (tier 3) where I talk through my drawing process all the way from starting with prompt words through to a finish digital illustration.

I wrote down a few familiar words to prompt some ideas for this little illustration, and I wrote down 'rabbit', 'strawberry' and 'flower', then sketched a few ideas and eventually ended up with this cutie!

So for this one the process went a little something like this:

Write down some prompt words

Sketch out a few ideas based on those words

Draw that sketch again in digital software

Colour in each base element in a block of colour

Go over each of those elements with texture and shading

Add details

And that's it!
