April Illustration Club Wrap-Up (Patreon)

Well that went quickly!

April's Illustration Club has come to an end but of course if you didn't get a chance to finish your illustrations you can keep working on them in May - I won't tell anyone 😉 

There were so many beautiful sketches, compositions and final illustrations, and it makes me so happy to see all of your creativity! Thank you so much if you joined in and shared what you created over on Discord so that I could admire your creation, and if you joined in privately at home then I hope you had fun too!

To recap, here is my own journey for this month's illustration club for the prompt 'a magical forest'.

Activity 1. First I filled a sketchbook page with any ideas that came to mind for the prompt. I mostly thought of plants, sparkles and forest critters.

Activity 2. Then I sketched out some potential compositions using some of the ideas from activity 1.

Activity 3. And finally I took one of those compositions and drew a final illustration with it!

I really enjoyed this prompt and having an excuse to draw cute, magical things! Let me know if you have any ideas for future prompts! 💕
