May Illustration Club Wrap-Up (Patreon)

May is coming to an end and if you're in Australia like I am things are starting to get chilly as winter approaches! For the rest of you I hope things are warming up nicely as you enter summer ☀Firstly I just want to quickly say thank you for joining me here on Patreon this month - I love this community and sharing things with you and it just makes me happy to have you here!

This month's illustration club was such a fun one and I loovved seeing all of your entries on Discord as always. There were so many cozy scenes and I really enjoy seeing the variety of ideas that come out of a single prompt!

Let's take a look at the final illustrations that were shared on Discord:

To recap, here is my own journey for this month's illustration club for the prompt 'a cozy home'.

Activity 1. First I filled a sketchbook page with any ideas that came to mind for the prompt. I mostly thought of little creatures wrapped up in things and some inside scenes.

Activity 2. Then I sketched out some potential compositions using some of the ideas from activity 1.

Activity 3. And finally I took one of those compositions and drew a final illustration with it!

I had such a nice time drawing cozy things and I hope you did too if you joined in! I'm looking forward to sharing June's prompt with you in a couple of days 🥰💕🌷
