Missed Friday's post, but hey. Trump becoming the first American president to become a convicted felon was both predictable and hard to believe. I didn't believe he'd be charged, must less tried and convicted. But if anyone was going to become the first felon President... it wasn't going to be Nixon, who was too smart to go to prison (and had his oafish successor to pardon his ass). Maybe this is good news. I don't think Trump is going to get re-elected, but him losing last time sparked January Sixth, so... who knows.

Biden's peace proposal for Israel is pretty good as far as White House foreign policy goes. Withdraws the IDF, returns the hostages, slows down casualties. Horribly, making this proposal after anything fewer than 500,000 deaths is some real progress for the White House.
