Chapter 28 Poll and Chapter 29 News (Patreon)

Character PollNow that the chapter has been out for quite a while, it's time to officially release this poll, as mentioned before.

It is recommended that you finish the recent release first before answering this poll, but it is not required. Who did you prefer? This also helps me see who hasn't played yet.

Kanae or Shizuku?

Chapter 29 News I'll try to make this as spoiler-free as possible. Akiro and Kyouko's return is so ripe with material; this is what I love most about world-building and connections. Their screen time is limited, but the flair they bring is memorable. They add so much depth and development since they offer a different perspective to a character than we can see from the MC's viewpoint. I did not expect Kyouko to be a favorite of mine, nor for her to play this big a role in MTWY. At least not back in Book 1.

Characters from Chapter 28 will return. However, the next chapter focuses on Akemi and her relationship with MC, at least more than it did in the recent one. The next 2/3rds of Lost Time Akemi's arc will span several months in its storytelling.

I've started setting up maps and designs and will eventually turn to you, our supporters, for opinions on them.

My biggest worry so far is not to make this merely a retold version of Chapters 19 and 20. I so hope it doesn't come across that way. I mean, some similarities will be inevitable, of course, but this go-around should be especially unique given the circumstances, and it has to be very apparent to the onlookers.Here's a preview of the screen test:
