About the delay of the next version...

I’d like to explain why the release has been delayed; I understand that some of you are tired of waiting. As you probably know, it’s been a year since the last version was released, and you might say, “Oh, you’ve been working on the next version for a year.”

Well, I wish that were the case. But it wasn’t. When the last version came out, I set out to do certain things that didn’t work out, and that set me back quite a bit.

Development on the next version of Sarada’s Rise actually began in June (as you can see on this channel with the updates). During that time, I was working on Price of Desire and fixing some issues.

So, development on Sarada’s Rise began in June of last year, about five months after the last version. So yes, I was five months behind schedule. And while I can tell you those months weren’t wasted—since I transferred a lot of work from PoD to Sarada’s Rise, along with the new combat system and other improvements—I’m not going to play the victim and say it wasn’t a delay.

There’s also the matter of the survey, which ultimately led to the decision to include what’s left of Part 1 of Arc 2 in a single version. So, I apologize again to everyone and hope you understand; I’m still giving this project my all. I know I’m a solo dev and that sometimes human limits get in the way. I hope you understand. Soon I’ll be bringing all the changes I’ve made to various systems that I haven’t published yet.

(which I hope isn't too few for you)
