On rewatch - almost every time the whispers happen it's those ghosts trying to warn that something is going to happen. They were trying to help, not hurt/harm/scare etc. Originally airing on April 13, 2010, 'Everybody Loves Hugo' is Episode 12 of Season 6 of LOST. It is the 115th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 8.4, placing it as the #7 ranked episode of this season and #60 out of all the episodes shown so far.

EXACTLY! Remember watching it first time and thinking WTF but that's why the rewatch is so important. The best place to trace that concept back to is season 2 when Shannon was shot :)
