David Murray

Chris Carter was snorting something incredible when he wrote this one 😂

This is one I always skip on re-watches.

They originally asked Roseanne to play Shaineh Berkowitz and Cher to play herself, but they both turned it down. Cher has said in later years that she regrets not doing the episode, that she had wanted to play a character, not just do a cameo as herself, but that she wished she'd said yes. No idea what Roseanne thinks. Yes, it's a weird one. But I always liked the more experimental and wonky episodes.

Amazingly bonkers episode that's for sure. Wacky characters, full of tropes n stereotypes and aesthetically very nice with some beautiful monochrome shots and one of the most bizarre endings to anything. Love it!
