The whole point of the club laughing on their way to jail was because they knew that Stahl and Jimmy were dead. That was why the two club members were honking their horns. They were letting the whole club know that everything was taken care of.

The deal for Gemma and the club had already been signed. What got torn up was the statement Jax signed. They were honking their horns to let the club know their plan worked. The club knew Jax was pretending to be a "rat" and voted the decision to play Stahl as implied by the letter to Gemma. They sneakily left this off camera 😋

Jax and the whole club were in on it that why they were all laughing, Also he said in the letter to Gemma it was a club vote! Store gave the signed doc to the clubs lawyer so no Ope did not rip it up!

Okay Asia/BJ, BARE WITH ME HERE 😂 It's a lot, but I found this really good explanation for it all to make perfect sense. Worth the read amongst yourselves. (No spoilers, only an explanation of S3 events) It was a trick. Jax was being a "double agent" for SAMCRO. Jax TRICKED Stahl into making an "under the table" deal with him. Jax told her that he would rat for her, IF 1) Gemma was cleared of the false Murder charges for killing Edmond Hayes. Stahl killed Edmond and FRAMED Gemma for it and 2) If Stahl would help SAMCRO get a reduced sentence for their gun and assualt charges, even though they really were guilty of assualting a group of people with semi-automatic weapons. He and the whole club were in on the trick from the beginning of it. He was never ratting, he was carrying out a club-sactioned mission is all. Jax, went to the club and proposed the idea and they all voted on it and swore--as a club not to tell anyone, not even Gemma or Tara--which is why Jax wrote that letter to Gemma explaining it all at the end of the season because they didn't show SAMCRO setting it up, they wrote it that way to surprise and delight the audience (Watch Season 3s finale, the last few minutes and listen to Jaxs voice-over of the letter.) The reason why he did it was to get the club a reduced sentence for those gun/assualt charges--they should have done like 12 years each or something like that. Instead, they wound up serving 14 months in Jail and being released on Parole. Also, Stahl had framed Gemma for murder, but she retracted the statement and blamed it on someone else. Rewatch Season 3 and ask questions as you go, its fun to watch that story unfold. Stahl accepted the offer, she suspect that Jax was double crossing her, so that is why she wanted to "make sure the prince had really turned Rat" when she went to TM to get Jimmy O. Because they were tricking her ALL of SAMCRO had to ***pretend*** that they were shocked that Jax had been working with Stahl. Gemma had to believe that her son was really going to be killed, Tara had to really think she might not ever see Jax again--the guys didn't know where the ladies would be when that part went down, but by keeping them in the dark, they guaranteed that Gemma and Tara had a natural and believable reaction. Stahl watched everyone when she told them about Jax because she suspected them of lying to her, but SAMCRO got angry and violent, Gemma was desperate, Tara cried--everyone reacted appropriately and once Stahl was satisfied that SAMCRO had been surprised by Jax working with her, she signed some documents AND gave them to SAMCROs lawyer that said SAMCRO would only serve 3 years in prison BUT if they had good behaviour, they could have parole in 14 months. Then she got in her car and rode off, smug and satisfied that Jax was going to be killed by the SOA or one of their allies and that SAMCRO would be destroyed/destabilized by Jaxs betrayal. (She personally hated SAMCRO, she didn't want to see them brought to justice, she wanted to see them suffer or dead.) They had Chibs and Opie waiting for her and Jimmy. Opie wanted Stahl dead, Chibs wanted Jimmy O. dead and so they ambushed and killed them to get their revenge--UNSER HELPED LURE Stahl to the ambush BECAUSE IT WAS HIS LAST DAY AS POLICE CHIEF and to get back into the Sons and Gemmas good graces. Stahl didn't think about/realize that so she believed Unser when he said all of that. Anyway, Chibs and Opie (along with Piney and Kozik) killed Jimmy O. and Stahl, "beat" or "knocked out" Unser and DESTROYED the papers that Jax had signed making him a rat so it never got out that Jax of the SOA had worked with a Fed. There was no proof so only SOA knew that Jax had done it and Jax only did it because the SOA needed him to.

They were all laughing because they knew about the kills. It was all set up. They knew Jack was gonna pretend like he was gonna rat. The envelope that they ripped up was Jack’s cooperation when they were at the garage stall gave their lawyer the envelope that would help them get their shorten time it was two different envelopes. That’s why Jack’s at the end said he would never give up his club or his family. The club voted on it so they all knew beforehand.

When they got in the van they wanted to kill Jax for ratting and we the viewers thought to quote Asia "he gone die". The show revealed that they all knew and were in on what Jax was doing. They were putting on a show for Stahl. Thank God. I don't want to see him ousted or hurt. Such a good lead character.

A little Easter egg at the end… in a nod to Sonny Barger who was an actual Hells Angel president and played Lenny the Pimp, when the prospects honked their horns it was Morse code for AFFA, which is an Angels saying meaning Angels Forever Forever Angels.

Opie tore up the deal giving up the Irish Kings. The deal giving them 3 years was already handed to their lawyers at the garage. It’s 3 years, parole in 14 months if they don’t get in trouble, i.e kill jax. Since the club was in on the plan the whole time, Jax isn’t in danger and they’ll be out in 14 months.

It's interesting seeing Asia so judgmental over Lyla. When Asia started defending herself by saying she's sure the actress is a sweet girl I was like "damn she wasn't just casting judgement on the character but it bled over into the actual actress!" I'm sure it's been said in the comments, but to clarify, the Sons' short prison time agreement was handed to their lawyer. Jax's statement about the IRA and the Irish Kings is what Opie tore up. Jax isn't a rat. The club was all in on it, and they played along because Jax knew Stahl was gonna throw him under the bus. They were all laughing together in the back of the police transport because they had pulled it off.

What a finale!!! Well well.. Stahl is finally gone! She was an absolute snake! Kudos to the actress though!! She was really good at playing this part because I absolutely hated her but loved her storyline lol.. And for Opie to be the one to do it is just pure poetic justice!! And OMG Tara!! Tara just keeps getting caught up in some crazy drama!! And I absolutely love it lol. Can't believe we are starting season 4 already!! And trust me when I say.. it's gonna be one hell of a ride til we make it to the end. 🫣🫢😁

ASIA and BJ, you got this wrong about the whole thing with Jax not be trusted by the SOA Cro - Clay specifically. Jax had shared this idea with Clay and the crew, they came unanamous in support of Jax. SOA got bitch slapped by Stahl way too many time already. They all want her and Jimmy out. Stahl got played at the end. This was the way to do it. Jax did NOT rat SOA, so that smile you saw at the end in the transorting van to prison was a WINNING WITH SUCCESS smile. The way Clay and Jax looked at each other while smiling was a way to let us viewers know there was never a bad blood between them two. The whole plan was executed excellent because they trusted one another. About the part where it JT (read by Jax voice) said, "I know my days are numbered Mo (Maureen) and when these letters stop, you can be certain that my (JT) death will come at the hands of my wife (Gemma) and best friend (Clay)." This was a way to let us know what JT wrote to Maureen in thos letters that we are so obsessed about. SOA and Clay wasn't plannin nor will they kill Jax. Jax is NOT a traitor. lol Gemma is a loose cannon we all know that, I love her but she’s crazy and impulsive. That’s why Jax came up with the whole plan, he told Clay, and the club voted. They kept Gemma out of the plan, because again she’s impulsive 😉 they knew Jax wasn’t a rat. They all played along and got away with it.

yea he said in the letter at the end to his mom that he would NEVER betray his club, which made me assume everybody was in on this from the start, and he just didn't tell his mom because he needed her to play out her role like normal

The writer of this tv show is Married to Gemma IRL, and is playing the "lifer" Otto of SOA in jail. He spent years and years talking to Bandidos, Hells Angels and others to make it as realstic as possible. Dont know how far you come by now, if the 2 CIA agents has appared which is also true story CIA taxes ALL the cartels from Colombia to Mexico to bring their drugs in and even help some, how i know this is because i work there and the company is built on a pile of secrets it is how they survive and can operate without supervision by anyone, if we need a target dead we just go to a fisa judge and get it and that is that. And no CIA isnt technicly allowed to operate within the US but as said they do what they want. You shoud watch the tv show Jack Ryan from 2020 4 season that just ended they trained with us and is based on some of what we do and what reach the company has is unlimited, it do intel gathering they get from NSA and they do their own, they bribe foreign agents or force them, they have paramilitary KIK squads, they have survailance units, drones, more and better equipment that the army of any country. The IRA that SOA buys guns from is still very very real, and they are the reason Ireland is split in half not even scots, uk could defeat them, they are hard as nails, but lovely guys, most are priests with guns and murder for hire. So whatever you think you see here aint happening is, dont get it fucked up. Its your white world with normal way green gras white fences and normal work and you have one world under the grey between yours and the devil where we operate, easier way to send them down from there. But it can be tiresome, lonely to live in the shadows. Gotta say Asia and BJ you both are my favourite reactors i never watch anyone elses content cause you guys are so good with content and dont stop every 10 min you deserve a Patreon award. I dont have much time left hence i work 24/7 so i usually watch with you on my plane. Now im starting on your season 2 of SOA. Thanks for choosing this show. Totally loved the reaction!!!! We just got to this one! I am tripping! As Jemma read Jax's letter; he even tells her that it was a Club Vote! It was all planned.....lol. I love this series and can't wait to finish out to see what y'all think!!!! I have seen the whole series several times. Watching you two react is my husband's first time watching and I haven't really told him much. He is really into it now. There are many foreshadows in the episodes......... I’m happy Asia made the point to compare Lila and Tara. Tara, who is a pediatric surgeon has helped to kill AND killed RECENTLY but she’s good for Jax, good for Abel. I think Lila’s character is another way SOA causes people to think differently. About morality and the levels we’ve created. Is Tara better for a man and child just because of what she does for a living? Is a Mexican bike club worse than an SOA club? Is a street gang worse than a local MC? Just questions.

the laughing at the end meant it was all planned: that jax would make a deal, pretending the club didnt know - knowing stahl would turn on him - they get Jimmy ded, stahl ded, and escape with only about a year in prison. The irish church blamed and framed for jimmy's death - the only people not in on the plan was Gemma, Tara, and Opie's fiance etc. they even said in the letter 'it was a club decision' (to do this, and to NOT tell the old ladies)

there were 2 folders (if you remember the camera shot scene with stahl and jax circling around them) - 1 folder that gives the club short time / 14 months - and one that jax signed to be a rat against the IRA and irish guns - the 2nd one is the one that opie tore up, and the short time folder stahl signed and gave to their lawyer at the auto shop.
