It's because they have all these upper tier subs they almost no one else will watch in-between the more popular titles And they watch a TV show on the side They also pick things that sound like that'll give them a rush or a fun scare, also things that a fair few would watch They cater to EVERYBODY'S wishes, not just the small piece of the pie chart

A couple of these aren't even sequels, like Thor (part of a giant interconnected movie universe) and the Clone Wars (a movie that just details a part of star wars that is a feature length pilot to a TV show) "Rise" is a reboot, technically not a sequel They're incorrectly populating this poll

They have a wide spectrum of viewers and they watch a variety of things. They often let the patrons decide what is watched, hence this poll. That's the reason for a lot of series to continue. They get a lot of suggestions and it's as simple as that. Just because the first movie in a series gets voted and viewed, doesn't mean the sequel will. This poll gives some of those movies a chance.

As someone who grew up on the Reeve supes movies I hard agree Man of Steel is the best modern day version of Superman. I also loved watching the Kirk Alyn serials growing up, the transition from live action to animation when he flew was amazing for the time.

They haven't seen Thor so this would be the 1st movie. They are treating the MCU as sequels to each other, which is fine as long as they do them in somewhat of a canonical order.

Actually it nearly always does mean that. But the more important point is that they keep starting a franchise, clearly love, people sub for that franchise and then they just don't continue despite literally all metrics and their personal enjoyment being good for it. It's not a good system currently.

Whenever you have customers spending money it is absolutely serious. The easy way to make the most people happy is to just do the damn sequels to stuff you clearly enjoyed without any polls. Polls alienate subscribers and give them nothing for their money most of the time.

They have a TON of comedy movies they’ve already reacted to. If you need to laugh go watch some of those. Just because your movie didn’t win the poll, doesn’t mean that they won’t react to it. They usually react to a lot of the movies on the poll. They just like to get a feel of how many people like each movie. I don’t like any of the movies in the poll except catching fire and I’m not sprinkling the comment section with complaints. They are trying to make everyone happy but you can’t always be at the front of the line my friend

They did Greek wedding a few weeks ago. It was a great reaction. I’ve watched it a few times. Greek wedding 2 was so bad I had to make myself finish it and I won’t watch # 3. The second one didn’t make any sense at all. It was all over the place. They cranked up the same jokes to a 10 and it made it corny. . I rarely hate movies but that is one I absolutely hated. But the first one is one of my favorite movies of all time. Check out their reaction to it, it’s awesome !!

*high five* Nicole! Same, I love my Marvel and I'm a crazy person about the order I watch my movies. I always hope for my movies, or sequels. And if they were not doing anything I liked and money was an issue I'd unsub for a month. But that's just me. I've watched a lot of stuff I never thought or cared about seeing before with them and enjoyed the blue shit out of it. So I'm pretty much down for anything with them.

I want to see older movies. I think your other poll thats below was great. I know the thing is to react to newer movies. But there are so many good ones from 90s to early 2000. Especially action and suspense thriller movies. Comedies were more early 2000s. But i would like to see you two react to movie like... Murder at 1600, Negotiator, Mercury Rising, Cop(80s), Striking Distance, Hostage, 16 Blocks, Along Came a Spider, Double Jeopardy, Ransom, Clear and Present danger, Air Force one, The Patriot games, Clear and Present Danger. Forgotten movies imo. But all great for the times and still great movies til this day. My dad use to watch movies left n right. I would sit and watch with him growing up. Im 36 and feel like i ive seen every movie from the 90s now except the Godfather. Lol. The older ones will always have that feel. They dont make them anymore, like they use to.

If I'm being honest I don't think any of these sequels are very good. You guys have watched some of the best sequels already. Terminator 2, Aliens, Godfather, Top Gun... I am a bit surprised that Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness didn't make the list. One of my favorite horror trilogies

not worth blaspheming over. i get some can't stand the superhero movies as they aren't really all artsy and regular movie-like. just like some turn their nose up at comic books and only read novels. however there are alot more that occasionaly tolerated both and add to that those of us who loved comics and novels and you got why these movies do so well. Take the transformers franchise. it came from a bunch of hasbro toys lol. yet i loved those toys when i was little and the cartoon. but yea. i can understand where you are coming from. some ties you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't. @Darth i thought they watched thor the first one. and didnt they say that list was of ones they wanted to watch the next movie in the series?

To those who said in the poll comments this is just a teenager movie and that all the “teenagers” were voting, I have to say you are so far off and it tells me you have not seen these films. I read the books in my 40’s because I wanted something light, different and they were pretty popular. I couldn’t put them down and then saw the first flick. It was the only one out at the time. I remember my husband (we were dating at the time) said he had no desire to watch a “kids” film. I tried to explain but… he didn’t believe me. Then one day after we were married it popped on showtime or one of those channels and he watched with me. He loved it. He said, “This was totally different than what I thought it was going to be.” Yes some of the main characters are teens but the storyline is very mature and tragic. Anne Frank was teen. Would you just dismiss her story? Back to the Future and Karate Kid have teen characters but lots of adults love them. And yes I know Anne Frank was real and her situation much more tragic and the Hunger Games is just a story. Just trying to make a point. I love these books/films and so do lots of adults of many ages.
