Fun fact: When Kozik (Kenny Johnson) is going to play basketball with the teens one of the boys calls him 'my Lemonhead sucker' it was a nod to Kenny Johnsons character in The Shield, Lemonhead... The Shield is just as amazing as Sons and has a ton of the same cast and was also created by Kurt Sutter (Otto). I am loving watching this with you!!

The main reason why there arent allowed any black people in the sons (or any real white MC) is that if you go to prison, there is only race run gangs. So a black person in your MC wouldnt translate well to the prison yard (conflict of interest and prison culture; races stick together etc) The Grimm Bastards (african american MC/ & SOA friends) are a support club/satellite club/puppet club. Pretty much ARE 'sons' but are not officially patched as 'sons' due to the black/white rule.
