Oddly enough, I have always thought that Eleven looked like my cousin Jay. On a completely different tangent, I've always thought Elizabeth Perkins reminded me of my Aunt Cindi. Now, My cousin Jay is my Aunt Cindi's son...so long story short, I agree with you, Asia, that Eleven resembles Elizabeth Perkins, especially if you can follow my logic train.

Can we discuss the psychological trauma on both parties that may come later as they realize that she slept with what turned out to be a 13 year old boy? I've read a cracked article full of the terrible situations that could arise as the product of this movie's resolution.

Haven't seen this in a long time!!! Can't wait to get home and relax and watch this. When I tell you all I've had a day.. I am not playing. I got assaulted at work trying to stop a shoplifter. 😡🥹 So everybody shopping this Holiday season please be kind to retail workers.. we go through so much craziness and still have to put on smiles for everyone.. it's really hard 😩 But anyways.. can't wait for this day to be over and chill with my favorite reactors 😁🙏

I know this movie is innocent and all. But watching the love scenes and him transforming back to a child right in front of her…it just…it just hits different with me as an adult I’m sorry. If he was a little girl and she was an adult man, I don’t know how much of a “classic” this movie would be.

One of my personal favorites with Tom Hanks is Splash. Mermaids!!! It has John Candy, Darryl Hannah, Eugene Levy.... soooooo many up and coming. It's worth it.

Isn’t this a darling movie? It seems like this kind of thing (and body switching) was a popular theme around this time. Like Father Like Son, Vice Versa, 17 Again (which they remade), All of Me, Switch, Freaky Friday was in the 70’s and then remade in early 2000’s. There been tons more like 13 Going on 30, the Change Up and more.

Oh and for all of you Tom Hanks fans, you should check out another fantastic movie he did in the 80’s titled, “Nothing in Common”. It also stars legend Jackie Gleason. Tom was still doing all the comedies around this time and when I saw this film I said to myself, oh… this guy would be fantastic in dramas. He’s really good. The rest is history.

😆 Josh wasn’t specific. He wanted to be big as in taller. Not bigger as in older. I wanted to be a taller kid myself. But no way in hell would I want to go back. I’m 50 the only thing I thought about at the 13 age range is that I was going to do things completely different than what I was raised around. And that’s exactly what I did. Has it been stressful? At times sure. But 100% less chaotic.
