This is a Gem!! So glad you got to it.

Lewsifer

Classic movie for tonight!!! Thanx guys

Deep Dives

Good movie. Frank Lucas was a CIA asset. If you watch the documentary, Lucas says he was flying drugs out in Henry Kissenger's plane.

Dan Gershgol

I’ve been suggesting this movie since day one. So glad you are getting to it.

Deep Dives

Still waiting for Denzel's greatest role, Malcolm X. Even Rolling Stones in 2024 said it was his Best movie.

Matthew Choe

Been waiting on this one, ITS TIME!

Justin Freeman

For $250 a month, they'll watch Mexican wrestling. Dig deep brother Wayne......

Justin Freeman

I promise to send you five pounds of Domeeno Sugar if you react to ROBOCOP!

JL Green

Wow, I thought you had seen this already. Great character study.

Edgar Gonzalez

Denzel was great in this, along with Russell Crowe

Rebecca Karsner

OMG I have been wanting to watch this again and BAM!!! I am so excited to watch this! Gotta watch the Wire too!! Might be a little slower on that. I'm watching like 3 different shows right now when I can lol. Let's go!! Denzel is the GOAT.

Deep Dives

Mexican wrestling ain't got nothing to do with nothing. X is on many a polls for his best movie.

Diana McCall

I don't know if you guys have seen it but a GREAT Denzel movie is John Q! A MUST see!!

Debbie Green

Heck yeah! I’ve been hoping yall would watch this one! Denzel at his finest!!!!

Rashad Walker

I find it hilarious both of u were stressing over frank and his family getting caught lol ....he was a terrible person contributing to destroying the community. The movie did a good job of giving u sense of empathy for the character based on his mother wife and family but ultimately he was not a good guy.

Rashad Walker

This film is so underrated and doesn't get the credit it deserves.

Awilda Luciano

You guys literally saved from working an all-nighter. Another Denzel gem 💎. Hope you guys get to other Denzel movie treasure: Flight Antwone Fisher Deja Vu John Q Out of Time

Zach P

Denzel is jsut too perfect for a gangster. couldn't have been better

Karim

Even though Walter White was fictional, it’s interesting to see the parallels between him and Frank Lucas.

Smitty Benzo

Common playing TI's father is hilarious.

Jason Cooper

Y'all have to watch Hoodlum now.... To understand who Bumpy Johnson was

CD

Great reaction! Been waiting for you guys to do this one! Love the soundtrack to this one too

Justin Freeman

Just saying if you got$$$$$ ... Polls got nothing to do with nothing

Jay Rivera

I recently rewatched this twice this year. The extended cut also because it helps the character arcs flow a bit better but overall I love to watch this and “Training Day” as my double Denzel Feature. Also “Flight” but this one is Ridley Scott guy who did “Alien”. Such a great choice! ❤️

Dan Gershgol

There is more to the movie at the end. Look for the extended cut.

Debbie Green

YES!!!!!! “John Q “ is Denzel’s best work in my opinion

Pink Martini AZ

Ridley Scott is one of my favorite directors. He always does a fantastic job with his movies. Not to mention I’ve always been a big fan of Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington.

Paul

Awrite Guys what about a wee Get Shorty recommendation in tribute to the legend Gene Hackman!

Stan Ross

I appreciate yall discussing how he dressed at the boxing match … the coat definitely put him on the radar…. BUT Who was it that got him the coat?????????? It wasn’t Frank himself

Raider Ron

It's been so long since I've seen this movie. Denzel was amazing. Another movie you guys need to see is Donnie Brasco.

maxMary

The Hurricane

MT

In case you missed it. Richie(Russell Crowe) became a defense attorney and took Frank Lucas as his first client. Got his time reduced to 15 years. Payback for helping the investigation.

Anthony Jackson

IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS! Thank you!

Anthony Jackson

I would love a reaction to "Fences" with denzel!! You won't regret it!

Komplex

You should see Denzel in A Solider Story

Carol Rocha

DeJavu & Out of Time are FANTASTIC!! Not crazy about flight. love John Q, but I thought they’d seen it ? Anteone Fisher is such a good movie. All great picks!!

Dan Gonya

You guys absolutely have to watch John Q. Just another amazing Denzel Washington movie with him acting his ass off. By the way, I can point you in the direction of what I would call a bad Denzel Washington movie if you want. Check out Ricochet... It stars John Lithgow, the Trinity killer from Dexter, and he's got red hair and he's an assassin of some sort and Denzel has to go stop him. It's ridiculous and terrible.

Dan Gonya

Yes. John Q is amazing!

Dan Gonya

Also, the guy with the jheri curl and the blond moustache, that actor is Joe Morton and I think he is notoriously underrated. Asia should remember him as Roman Pope from Scandal, but he was also Miles Dyson in Terminator 2 judgment Day. He's freaking fantastic in everything! I'm pretty sure he was one of the co-founders of the Steppenwolf theater in Chicago, along with Gary sinise, and the guy that played Thatcher Gray on Gray's anatomy. He was also on scandal as the president's gay chief of staff. All really strong actors, these men.

Ry Cannon

The show Godfather of Harlem is about Bumpy Johnson Forest Whittaker plays Bumpy its so good yall should watch it
