The Inner Harbor and Bmores historic aspects are great. We played a huge part in our countries making so it def worth a visit. DC is prettier and also lots of history. The Bay is where its at whether youre near Bmore or DC. Come for the food, the Bay and the history - Bird Land

What I loved about this show was the realism. Good guys aren't perfect and bad guys aren't pure evil. There's good cops, bad cops, coldhearted criminals and criminals with heart. everyone exists on a spectrum. And they nail all the interoffice politics perfectly. All just seems very very real.

This is gonna be quite a ride guys. It’s amazing. Episode 1-3 are very much scene setting, character building episodes. The story starts slow on purpose but will kick into gear. Can’t wait for you guys to really get stuck into this!

If your gonna go to Baltimore, go in the Summer that way you can stay in Ocean City Maryland. Baltimore is one of the most dangerous cities in the country and a few years ago, was the heroin capital in the country. ...But still a lot of history there.

I'm happy that The Wire won and was wondering if there is another show in the works as you asked if you should react to two shows. Just wondering if there will be another show added or is that not in the cards atm?

Nah you don’t need to go to Baltimore. I went to college down there, though for seafood, the crabs cannot be beat. But there is also a TON of crime. In college I lived about 4 blocks from the corner with the highest murder rate in the country, 28th and Greenmount.

I have subtitles on and there’s a lot of slang used that I have to guess the meaning of by context. It’s amazing how regional the language is. It’s interesting to me because I studied 3 languages in high school and college.

Ha! I love you two. I will say this, if you come here please let me know so I can show you the "real" Baltimore because The Wire is just a television series. The writing is top tier but don't equate people like myself to the characters portrayed in the show. Granted it was created by a news beat reporter, but it is not indicative of the citizens here. BTW, if you do visit I'll show you some of the areas they shot some of the scenes (no pun intended 😉).

I've never watched this show before, so it's amazing how many actors I recognize from other stuff: Idris Elba, Michael b Jordan, Meghan Markel's dad on suits, Julius from Remember the Titans, the grave digger from Bones, the kicker from The Waterboy, that one cop from breakout kings and reacher season 2, Buchanan from SVU, the tall black guy that plays a General in practically everything...the list goes on. And I'm only on episode one.

The 'Shield' blows this show away for acting, excitement and storylines but on a poll finished last ,even Joe Rogan has praised it talkinbg about it above every other series. Imo only the Sopranos tops the Shield .
