Great movie. Excellent choice.

Michael Lynch

Great movie. One of my favorites. I know you guys enjoyed the hell out of this one.

Mayne

Where is The Wire Season 4 eps 1 & 2?

Red Dwarf

Oooo this is a great one

Steve Chase

YESSSSSSSSSSSS You guys are the GOAT.

Carol Rocha

Oh GOSH!! Yesyesyesyesyes!!! ❤️❤️ More Graham Greene!! (Green Mile, Thunderheart) Jeremy Renner from Equalizer, Kelsey Asbille from Yellowstone, and more!! Let’s go!!

Rebecca Karsner

OMG this is an awesome request!! This is a tough film! Thanks Ultimate VIP! Can't wait to watch when I get home!!

Darth Brooks

Great choice VIP hopping on in right now!

Jesse McAdams

You said that you watched The Walking Dead. Jon Bernthal was Shane. In this movie, I'll never forget the look that he gave her when she looked back when he was fighting them. He knew what was going to happen to him but he did what was needed to give her a chance. That is a true man.

Carol Rocha

Hey guys, my screen is freezing up on most movies again. Any ideas??

Rebecca Karsner

Is it freezing when you enlarge the screen? Or like is it buffering issues?

Aaron Drew

Wanna see you guys reaction to Barbershop with Ice cube it’ll be a banger

Delia Sewell

The FBI agent is played by Elizabeth Olsen. Sister of the Olsen twins & a much better actress. The ex-wife of the warden was in the TV series Yellowstone. A great series for you guys to react to.

Michael Lynch

Towards the end when they were at the drill site, the one cop said you didn’t see that? You didn’t quite know what he was talking about. He was talking about the fact that she didn’t see that they were surrounding them to kill them.

Eamonn Locke

Thank you Asia And BJ! I hope you liked it. The writer is Taylor Sheridan, Deputy Hale, from SOA. He's also the writer for Yellowstone and Hell or High Water, Sicario and many others.

Jesse McAdams

They were co-workers not friends.

Jroc919nc

My favorite Taylor Sheridan movie

LynnC

Never even heard of this movie, so I just watched the trailer to see if I wanted to watch it. Looks pretty good.

Rebecca Karsner

My dude!!!! Thanks for this pick!! Great movie!! This was on my list of movies that I would've requested down the line!! So thank you!!! 😊 About to watch right now!!!!

Eamonn Locke

Awesome! You're welcome!! I've been suggesting it here and there for a while. So many great movies choose from, but I figured I'd start with this.

Mister Lou

Great movie and great reaction! I live on a reservation close to Smithers B.C. Canada right smack dab in the middle of Highway 16 AKA The Highway of Tears, If you ever seen the Netflix Documentary called "Yintah" that's my rez. And good timing too, for this reaction, because last Monday, May 5h was Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Day

Eamonn Locke

BJ was spot on when he guessed Wyoming. When the Deputy asked "you didn't see it?" during the gun draw scene, he was referring to the the security guards flanking him on 3 sides. Asia was right to tread lightly on the claim that there isn't a database for missing Native American women. There is, it's just not as comprehensive or regularly updated into the federal database.

Jay Rivera

Luck don’t live out here 🫰

Jay Rivera

Now “Hell or High water” next

Karim

I don’t know if this is relevant or not but your (I’m guessing) future reaction to the movie CHILDREN OF MEN was attached to the email notification of this movie.

Charles

Just a brutally beautiful film. Glad that y'all got to watch it.

Charles

Children of Men is such a banger, and it sits alongside Wind River (and many others) in the "Films That I Watch to Make Myself Cry" genre. Hope that they get to it soon!

MiM

I've been hoping you both would react to this movie some day. This is such a good movie. It's still hard to watch the scene where they show what actually happend to the girl. I had to fast forward that part. The whole end of the movie was so intense.

Carol Rocha

I haven’t noticed if it’s doing it before I rotate the screen or not. Hmm. I’ll have to check that out in a little bit. I don’t think it’s buffering. Idk if buffering ALWAYS includes the “spinning icon”, but that’s definitely not appearing. TY for your willingness to help. I’ll let you know about these.

Carol Rocha

I’m on my IPhone. I’m sorry, I didn’t make that clear. 😏 And also, I don’t watch on WiFi. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m going to check on something that Rebecca ☝️asked about. I will let you both know. TY for your concern & willingness to help!

Melissa Hawkins

Awesome choice!!!! We love this movie!! It is definitely an emotional one and since we had our son and even though he is an adult now; movies/shows like this that pertain to the harm of children etc hit harder than before. You feel the characters pain as a parent! My husband and I both have Native American blood in our bloodlines and it hits close about the missing Native American Women as well. Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen are also in some other movies together!!! 😉

LynnC

Wow Sheridan loves to recycle actors. Same faces here as in 1923, Landman, Yellowstone, Lioness, 1883, Mayor of Kingstown, and probably some more i'm missing.

Jay Rivera

A lot of folks probably know but fun fact this was buried when it first came out because it came out right around the beginning of the Weinstein case henceforth anything he produced at the time was like shunned. Went to see this with my lady at the time and we were one of 5 people in there. Blew me away. Especially the scene outside the camper. Fantastic writing. ✍️

Jordan

Jeremy Renner was also in “The Town” & “The Arrival”

Jerseytimes

Asia said spooky poem music 😂😂😂! Great choice of movie! One of my favorite neo-westerns

Justin Freeman

..................meanwhile in Baltimore................

Edgar Gonzalez

The reaction on Asia and BJ's face at 1:23:20, OMG I just love their reactions!

Carol Rocha

Thanks!! I don’t think it’s the data plan, bc it’s fine on other videos/movies. Ugh. I may try the other suggestions, tho! Thank you again, John!

Carol Rocha

EMON!!! I forgot when I first watched this, but I wanted to say a big THANK YOU! This was a really great movie!!

Carol Rocha

I was right there with em!! lol! Good gosh!!

Justin Freeman

Red tops !! Got them Red tops! Spiderbags! Ten'll getcha two!

Eamonn Locke

You're welcome! It's a heavy one for sure. Definitely sticks with you.

Justin Freeman

Shhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Dan Gershgol

Intense movie. Never heard of it.

Carol Rocha

Sorry for misspelling your name. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve already watched it again with my husband. He loved it as well. I saw Taylor Sheridan’s name and then I knew why I recognized so many [spectacular] actors! So sad, but such a great movie! Idk how we all missed this and it came out in like 2017 or so! Thanks again!!

Leon Jones

It’s been a week what’s up with season four of The Wire?

Renaldo

Its barely a week, chill

Renaldo

It's not the lack of the police trying, it's very limited resources and back up, they just almost dont exist on these reservations. So "this is a land of you're on your own" sounds about right.

Eamonn Locke

No worries. It's not a very common name in the States, more so in Ireland lol I'm glad he liked it too. I'm with you, Sheridan is very talented and I like pretty much everything he writes and or directs. I agree, it is a great movie, but very underrated. It stuck with me since the first time I watched it. You're welcome! Glad you got to enjoy it again!

KimM

Agree. It makes you really think....while this one story has a conclusion there are endless numbers of similar stories that have none. It highlights, appropriately, how screwed up and terrible the system applies to the Indigenous peoples of North America.

KimM

Yes, and that is exactly why one of security guards called out to the guy inside the trailer telling him the FBI agent was standing in front of the door. He wanted the guy inside to blast through it to shoot her.

KimM

This movie has always haunted me since first seeing it. Powerful right from the start. Near the end, the scene where Elizabeth Olsen’s character is in hospital, recovering, and starts slowly weeping...”She ran six miles in the snow”. And Renner’s character replies: “Yeah, she did”. After seeing this movie a second time with you, I realize there was no true justice or resolution...just a form of justice in what appears to be a lawless land run by predators and prey. Which is perfectly portrayed in the first act, and mirrored in the final. At least putting those pieces of garbage men in the ground ensured that they will never hurt anyone ever again for which I find some sense of relief. Be sure to check out Renner in the films Hurt Locker and The Town. And if you are looking for another really good series, he is in The Mayor Kingstown. I think you will enjoy watching it.

Bonnie Smith

I never heard of this movie and its just heartbreaking. We really need to protect our indigenous brothers and sisters and stand up for them. My Dad is part Cherokee so growing up, my parents would donate to different reservations, and we even visited a couple on road trips. What a sad movie. Killers of the Flower Moon is another great movie.

Josh

Should watch the show "Yellowstone" if u haven't seen it. The director of this film, Taylor Sheridan is the writer & creator of Yellowstone. One of the best shows there is

Josh

Director of this film, Taylor Sheridan is the writer & creator of the show, "Yellowstone." Really good show. He also wrote 1883, 1923, Landman, Tulsa King, Lioness, and movies Sicario & Hell for High Water.

Jacqueline Separovich

I’ve been meaning to watch Wind River again; it was excellent. I’ll watch it with you guys ❤️

Josh

He's made a lot of great stuff. The movies Sicario & Hell for Highwater, were good, too.

Bonnie Smith

I have a few friends who watch and love it! I don't have the streaming service its shown but maybe one day, it will appear on their channel

Mami's Gatos

Clips of the shootout scene were all up on my algorithm so wanted to see this. New it was gonna be good cos 50 minutes in and I still didn't know wtf was happening. So heavy. There's a Lisa ling doc on this topic. Sad stuff.
