Once Michael told Chris he wanted him gone he knew that Michael was sexually assault from the stepfather from personal experience, Chris was also a victim that’s why he killed him so brutally.

💕💕

I feel like Chris was also abused when he was younger and he noticed it when Michael said he wanted Bug's dad to get away from them. The look he gives him before telling him he's taking care of, they understood each other.

Micheal has always been hesitant toward male role model figures like Cuddy the boxing instructor because of his past traumas an abuse, with his stepfather who sexually abused him. That why Micheal has always been afraid to leave his brother alone with his father.

The little boy's name is Kenard. He was one of the kids back in Season 3 who 'Bunk' saw acting like / pretending to be Omar, after they had witnessed the shootout in which Tosha Mitchell was killed via friendly fire from an erroneous shot by Omar's ex-boyfriend, Dante (of course Omar is now with Renaldo). "It's my turn to be Omar" was Kenard's quote. So, he has ambitions, as in his sights are set on becoming Omar. Keep a keen eye on Kenard, because a ways down the road that lil' guy may matter more than one might ever even imagine, at least based on his role seemingly being just a bit part in the show!

Based on one of their past update posts, I believe it actually had more to do with their computer running slow and needing fixed. There was a gap of time (approximately a week or so) between them watching / posting the first two episodes of this season and the rest. They mentioned that the consecutive viewings would be the plan as a makeup to us fellow fans / patrons. Either way, whether it is the aforementioned issues, getting hooked, or even a combination of both things, I, for one, am here for it! In fact, I feel like once they finish Season 4, then whenever they begin Season 5 they should just bang out those five posts of two episodes each, since there are only 10 episodes in the final season.

M4RRS

I am digging all of these consecutive posts! I realize that this was part of a plan, due to some recent computer circumstances coming up, which created a gap between posts of the first two episodes of Season 4 and the rest that have thankfully since followed. However, I, for one, would love for this roll y'all are on to continue in a similar manner whenever y'all start watching Season 5 (after presumably finishing up Season 4 sometime today, Friday, May 23rd). After all, Season 5 will take just five posts of two episodes each, since there are only 10 episodes in said final season. Thus, theoretically those too could be done from Monday through Friday again. How 'bout Saturday through Wednesday? LOL!

At the end of S4 E9: "He just a kid." — Omar Devone Little on Michael Lee This is the perfect quote to evoke a deeper meaning within the show. It essentially epitomizes the existences of these Baltimore city children.

It wasn't as if Namond didn't want Carver to call his mother, De'Londa Brice. It was truly the case that she was literally not around town / nowhere nearby. As Namond stated, his mom was away gambling in Atlantic City, NJ, and then attending a Broadway show ('The Color Purple') in NYC afterwards. This type of ordeal wasn't just an occasional occurrence, but a regular one. De'Londa frequently went on shopping trips to NYC and such, often neglecting Namond by leaving him at home all alone to take care of himself, much like how she kept making him fend for himself out on those B'more city street corners.

Mike Neelon

They are trying to heavily imply that Michael was abused by Bugs dad. It’s the reason he’s struggling to open up to any adult males. Love the reaction!

M4RRS

Regarding body counts: Multiply by 3 for females & divide by 3 for males. LOL!

Best moment of the day

Chris was also abused, he understands Michael about bug

Grushdeva

Also that Chris went through a similar experience. That's why he loses it on Bug's dad instead of just zombifying him in a bando.

Will

Marlo and co. been scouting Mike since episode 1 like he was a 5 star football recruit 😂. Taking out Bug's dad is them buying his loyalty. This isn't the best episode of the series but the subtleties here are what makes this the GOAT show. They were dropping hints all season about Mike being uncomfortable around adult men, then they're nudging us to notice how quickly Chris picks up on Mike's problem. Then we see how he carries the deed. Told us a whole lot about Chris without him saying a word

38:22 Michael’s reaction is super important for later… (27:29) 44:44 Doesn’t Herc realize he’s getting Randy in trouble?! >.< Randy got setup for sure, but he’s also a true snitch. 1:28:40 Namond just isn’t for the streets. He’s literally begging not to go to ‘baby booking.’ 2:03:30 I guess Chris was sexually abused as well. Btw, Michael knew exactly what Chris and Snoop were going to do… it’s Chris and Snoop lol.

Potato Jones

I think some other people in the comments are pointing it out, but my read on it was that Chris was abused too -- when Michael first talks to Chris and Snoop, Snoop asks "what he do to you?" and Michael just has this thousand yard stare. Certain things are too painful to even speak, and Chris could see it. He even reassures Michael by calling him Boss -- he doesn't want him carrying that hurt anymore. And that's why Chris kills Bug's daddy so passionately. He is taking a lot of pleasure in putting his normally cold violence towards something like justice. He normally is pure ice, but not for that....because part of him had to understand it. Also, it kind of makes sense of why Chris is so cold blooded. So many stories of serial killers and hit men are about them being abused as kids -- it makes it so that violence is a normal state of affairs. People that abuse kids are also notoriously targeted in prison for that same reason. There's certain lines even criminals don't cross, and I think it's fair to assume that whatever bug's dad did, was crossing that line. And it explains why Michael is so protective of his little brother -- he cannot let that same thing happen to him.
