So bye bye Miss Chair Model Lady. I dreamt that we were married and you treated me nice. We had lots of kids drinking whiskey and rye. So why’d you have to go off and die?

Jan: "People underestimate Michael. There are plenty of things that he is well above average at, liiiike ice skating. He is a VERY good ice skater." Asia: "I couldn't see that." Except for the fact that you literally did see precisely that back when y'all watched Season 2 Episode 19 entitled "Michael's Birthday". Remember when Michael forced all of the office employees to go to the local ice rink for his birthday? He did so despite the damper on everyone's day of awaiting to hear Kevin's medical diagnosis regarding whether or not he had skin cancer. Several scenes during the episode depicted Michael showing off surprisingly accomplished ice skating skills. Said scenes were included specifically to highlight Steve Carell's real life ice skating abilities, since he played the goalie position for his college hockey team. Apparently, Steve Carell even still currently plays hockey as a hobby to this day. Also, I will just say to stay tuned, as there will be more Michael ice skating action featured in the future.

The dinner party episode is so freakin chaotic and awkward. Just a masterclass for whoever wrote that script

Caitlin O'Connell

Yessss, I’ve been waiting for the dinner party! 🥂

M4RRS

LOL at Dwight saying the relationship between him and his babysitter was "purely carnal and that's all you need to know" — carnal of course being the complete and total, polar opposite of platonic — all just as another attempted ploy to make Angela jealous!

Soph

Incredible 🙌🏼

Soph

Omg for 10+ years I’ve thought it was “so rock the night all night “ 🙈🤣

What is creepy about the song is Jan most likely had an affair with her assistant and she listens to the song as if it was (and most likely was) made thinking of her.

Michael: Our suspect has straight, brown hair. She is wearing blue jeans and a black top. So— [Michael gestures toward the direction of some random, attractive, BLONDE woman.] Michael: Behold our bachelorette! [The camera "Pams" aka pans over to the woman, who is also wearing a white top with black skirt on top of the fact that she has blonde hair.] Michael: Give her a ten for looks and a three for her ability to describe herself. [The woman begins walking toward Michael, who smiles at her and starts to speak, attempting to greet her.] Michael: Hello, my lady! [The woman casually continues to walk past Michael, completely ignoring him.]

M4RRS

Pam's landlady (Michael's blind date) "get[s] the rent checks" every month, not "direct checks".

Neal Moody

Dinner Party is DEFINITELY one of the best episodes

Neal Moody

Oscar Meyer weiner lover 😆

Josip Buretić

Bloopers from that episode are amazing

The table tennis players 🏓 that Dwight idolizes are real players Zoran Primorac(was so happy as Croat to hear his name because he is just like me also from Croatia and was great player) Jan-Ove Waldner Wang Tao Jörg Roßkopf Ashraf Helmy Hugo Hoyama Andrzej Grubba and they are all awesome 🏓

Bill B.

Snip snap snip snap snip snap!!!

Jeff

Hunters song is about Jan in case you didn’t know. Jan was the one who made everything alright lol

MP

Hugo Hoyama 🇧🇷

Alex

If no-one has mentioned it, Dwight's cousin Mose is played by Michael Schur, a writer and producer on the show.

Elizabeth DeMerie

ASIA I love your shirt! It is beautiful! Tigers are my favorite!

I’m not sure about this, but wasn’t Cheers the first sitcom to run in “sequence” as far as each episode followed by the next episode in order of where the last episode left off? Well “The Office” took this to the next level.. Most sitcoms are are just new episodes that don’t follow in “sequence” .. The Office is “soap opera” sequence which I love.. Anybody name other sitcoms that do this besides “Friends” which was awesome as well….

James C

Go Mariners!!!

M4RRS

Pan aka Pam: Three hours from now or three hours from earlier, like four o'clock? Jan: You know, Pam, in Spain they often don't even start eating until midnight. Michael: When in Rome...

M4RRS

LOL @ Asia's puzzled facial expression immediately following the "Talking Head" interview segment in which Creed spoke about the planned swapping of office chairs between folks! Creed: When Pam gets Michael's old chair, I get Pam's old chair. Then I'll have TWO chairs...only one to go . . .

M4RRS

So raw, so right, all night, alright, oh yeah!

Fun Facts FYI: Melora Hardin (Jan Levinson) improvised the part where she makes devil horns with her fingers atop her head, and then Steve Carell immediately played off of that with his own reciprocated ad lib. Speaking of Melora Hardin, she was originally cast as Jennifer Parker in 'Back to the Future'. However, she was let go shortly after filming began because she was considered too tall to act alongside Michael J. Fox, who stood only 5'4" in stature. Female executives felt like her height would "emasculate" the lead character. This occurred after actor Eric Stoltz was replaced for the lead role. Stoltz' serious, method-acting approach was not suitable for the film's light-hearted comedic tone, according to director Robert Zemeckis and co-writer Bob Gale. Thus, after five weeks of filming, when it was finally decided once and for all that Stoltz lacked the comedic timing needed for the role of Marty McFly, they turned to the aforementioned Michael J. Fox, who had to pull double duty between both the movie and the popular sitcom 'Family Ties'. As for Stoltz, he has range. After all, he was excellent as a sympathetic character with a facial deformity in a film called 'Mask', which also starred Cher. In fact, 'Mask' was released in 1985 too, just a few months before 'Back to the Future'. Additionally, Stoltz went on to play the drug dealer who sold John Travolta's character Vincent Vega (brother of Vic Vega from 'Reservoir Dogs') a bunch of premium quality heroin in 'Pulp Fiction'. Plus, Stoltz was also great in his portrayal of a pedophile father in 'The Butterfly Effect' (2004), starring Ashton Kutcher.

You guys would enjoy the bloopers from each season, they are even more hilarious than the episodes!

Patman

Asia laughing every time they cut back to landlord lady was so damn funny. Thanks for all the laughs, Asia and BJ.

Janice B CPhT

Angela Kinsey (plays Angela) also improvised the, "You shouldn't joke about that." line also. 😆

Janice B CPhT

Yes! I always laugh at Krasinski's wheeze at Michael demonstrating his plasma TV. 🤣

Kramedog91

The dinner episode is easily one of the funniest

Ashleigh
