I LOVE THIS MOVIE Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam did the soundtrack.

Nicole Sherlock

Amazing pick! I loved this book and movie in high school, and used to listen to the soundtrack all the time. Can’t wait to rewatch with you all! 🙏💛

Edgar Gonzalez

Great movie, but sad ending... I haven't seen this movie in years. I'm excited to see it with Asia & BJ, plus the rest of the patreon fam! Let's get to it 💪

Elizabeth DeMerie

Love this actor!!! Emile Hirsch & this movie is amazing

Rebecca Karsner

OMG I love this movie!!! Been hoping this would get a reaction!! Thank you VIP!!! "HAPPINESS IS ONLY REAL WHEN SHARED." ❤️❤️😭😭

Dustin

Good movie; Tragic story. Chris' story is so sad. Looking forward to the reaction.

Stefan Williams

Emille Hirsch is super under rated. He has this innocence in his acting that is very unique.

Darth Brooks

Amazing movie, fantastic soundtrack, tragic story. Thanks VIP I can't wait to get home and check out this reaction! I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. May the turkey be juicy, your potatoes whipped perfectly, and the dressing just right.. Afternoon delight.....Idk where I was going with that, anywho Happy Holidays lol.

Dustin

Asia, the lady you were asking about, the lady hippy in the RV (Jan), is Catherine Keener. She was the evil mother in Get Out, and was also Steve Carell's love interest in The 40 Year Old Virgin. You should watch her in BEING JOHN MALKOVICH.

Rebecca Karsner

Agreed!! Hoping for Alpha Dog or Lords or Dogtown one of these days... or both lol

Duck

I've been waiting for you guys to see this since I first joined. This is awesome

Darth Brooks

To you and yours as well! Before I started this reaction I was almost certain this was a request from you.

John H

Alpha Dog is so good!

Duck

I'm pretty sure that his sister went thru the same trail Chris went thru and talked to many of the real people you see in the movie so it's a first hand story. Also the 2 people he met when he was kayaking are danish, played by danish actors and are fairly well know here. And the guy in the begins that gave him the boots is the last guy that saw Chris, might be wrong on this tho. My favorite movie, thanks for doing this.

Shenita

This was a great movie you guys great reaction the girl that plays Tracy is the girl that played Bella in the Twilight movies you need to see those you'll really love them her real name is Kristen Stewart

Brett

Great movie! Even better soundtrack!

Martyn Dawson

Oxfam is a charity that focuses on the alleviation of global poverty.

Nice! And we should add some of these to the next watchlist! Great reactions :-) The Thomas Crown Affair (renee russo / pierce Brosnan version) Chocolate w/ johnny depp Casino royale The intouchables (foreign language french film- it is amazing!! But you will need English subtitles- totally worth it) Amelie (another French language film but wonderful- will need English subtitles) Hannibal (sequel to silence of the lambs) To catch a thief (grace Kelly) Once upon a time in Mexico (sequel to Desperado) The next avengers movie! X-men (the original movies w/ hugh grant as wolverine!- even if you’ve seen it , would be fun to watch again) A league of their own Legends of the fall Black Swan Last of the mohicans Tv series: Mad Men Peaky Blinders

Kramedog91

This movie is amazing and I watched it many times as a young man. Always reminded me of myself in a way except I joined the army. Its always sad to see that he realizes to late he found the love he sought in all those people he met.

Dan Gershgol

I saw this when it came out. Amazing story.

Matthew Stewart

Reese Witherspoon has a movie called "Wild" which is another true story adventure. It's a good movie for anyone interested. It's on Disney+. Another good one but not a true story is "Wildlike."
