Pauly Shore is a comedian who rose to fame as a standup mentored by Sam Kinison and known for his alter ego persona "The Weasel", who spoke in a surfer parlance. He was on MTV a lot back in the 90's. His mother was well known in comedy circles for owning the world famous Comedy Store in L.A. He did indeed voice a character in The Goofy Movie and a sequel. He also made some other fun 90's family comedies. One, called ENCINO MAN, was referenced in this movie when Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser made a cameo to bite the head off a frog. I recommend checking out another Pauly Shore movie, IN THE ARMY NOW. It's actually pretty fun. As is a movie called JURY DUTY. Happy Thanksgiving!

The son (Patrick Renna) was indeed in The Big Green and you also saw him in The Sandlot. The tattooist was indeed Flea, the bass player for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And, no, the dad (Lane Smith), although a legendary Hollywood character actor in lots of TV and Movies, was never in Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
