Man... I haven't seen this movie in a minute. Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor were really great friends in real life and worked on several projects together. R.I.P TO THE LEGEND RICHARD PRIOR 🙏

Debbie Green

Classic!!! Great choice! So many greats in this movie! Thanks guys!

Nizate

Oh, I already know you guys loved this one!!! classic classic movie. Eddie Murphy, the best comedian ever. But Arsenio Hall is hilarious in this too.

FLORIDABOYYY

classic film, i cant believe i forgot to suggest this. u will never see another movie with so many legends

Adrian Rhodes

The best line up of black comedians EVER!! We'll never get a film with this amount of GOATs again. CLASSIC!!

asiaandbj

Facts!! This was a star studded cast. I don’t think a cast like this could ever be duplicated again.

Kickinthescience

Eddie knew how to bring the talent together back in the day. Just look at Boomerang and Life

Kickinthescience

Tommy got that same laugh whatever he’s in

Kyndu

"Boomerang"! "Which Way is Up?"

Karim

Excellent choice, this movie is full of legends. BJ’s thirsting is on another level 😆😆😆

Eddie Murphy's peak for ADULTS was 82-92 in which he did 2 iconic stand up specials and some great edgy films. In 92, Eddie did "Boomerang" and this was the last film with edgy Eddie. In 1996, we got the The Nutty Professor and after that more PG-13 films that made Eddie alot of money and broadened his fanbase AND THEN in 2001, a character by the name of Donkey took over and Eddie became that voice to kids and adults. He still did great work in films after but it ain't peak rockstar Eddie.

sb

Not only did he play "Tommy" on "Martin" and this film, its his real name (Tommy Ford)...Full Name: Thomas Mikal Ford.

Awilda Luciano

Wow, haven’t seen this movie in a while. Another hilarious movie is “Death at a Funeral”(2010). Starring: Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Tracy Morgan. I think you guys will enjoy it 😊

RudeArcher

Classsssic! Love me some Sunshine!

Darth Brooks

Such a great flick! Just got home traffic was rough, can't wait to watch this. My Dad loved this movie and he loved him some Vera, she absolutely cracked him up thanks for the movie and The Office tonight!!!

Abel Salas Jr

Ya'll need to peep Boomerang, a great Eddie Murphy romantic comedy full of great actors and an awesome soundtrack. Might want to consider it for Valentines Day

Jay Rivera

Just the poster alone made me laugh my ass off, what a spectacle lol 😂 now dolemite

Tony Uthe

One of my all time favorites, every comedic GOATs of all time in one movie. Thank you for this. Love you guys

SlimTim2

Yall totally mussed the introduction of "Sunshine" at the bar when Ricky the pickup guy asked what her name was... yall were talking when tht happened... Yall wldve known then tht thts who Vera was talking about when she said, "... if u throw it up in the air, it'll turn to 'Sunshine'..." she was suppose to turn him out, tht was the plan all along... Abd as far as the mk ry fron the fight, I asked ChatGPT wht it wld b worth i. Today's tiime... It said, "That $1.25 million score in Harlem Nights would be worth right around $27 million in today’s money. 💵 Each $50,000 payout to the crew equals about $1.1–$1.2 million today." Talk about gettin everybody's bread!! Sheesh!!

Abel Salas Jr

OMG! Ya'll need to do a Sanford and Son series reaction. CLASSIC! Also, Richard Pryor did several movies with Gene Wilder that are really good, "Hear No Evil, See No Evil", "Silver Streak", and "Stir Crazy".

Kyndu

"Stir Crazy" is a true classic!

Scott B.

I agree with the people saying Silver Streak is a great Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder movie. That's one of the films I'd love to see you do most!

Leon Jones

Blacks take on the whites and the blacks win. That’s what I love about this movie.

BillBrad

This was a good pick. I'm glad you finally did it Without Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor there is no Eddie Murphy.

Sweet D Rich

Happy New Year And Great Reaction To One Of My Favorite Movies! You Guys Have To React To Eddie Murphy's Debut Movie "48 Hours" (1982) and The Sequel "Another 48 Hrs" (1990)! Have A Blessed 2026!

KingMoor

One of my favorites! Redd Foxx's real name is John Elroy Sanford. Same last name as in the show.

FindingMyJoi

In the movie Life when he said “I know a b named Della that hits harder than that”, he meant Della Reese! 😂🤣

Diana McCall

Thomas Ford was one of my favorite actors! Unfortunately he passed away about 10 years ago. Will forever miss him and that iconic laugh!

Randy Ripley

Please watch Eddie in 48 Hours and Another 48 Hours.

Robin

I just finished watching with you guys and that was so much fun! So much fun!! Kicking off 2026 with a bang

Robin

Silk or Satin 🤣🤣🤣

Stan Ross

I think it’s Silk BJ 😂

Stan Ross

I’m with yall 😂

Michele Pérez

I went to the theater to see this movie. All the G.O.A.T.(s) were in this movie. I have always been in love with Della Reese. May she always rest in power. Anyway, I had so much fun watching it again with you guys.

Michele Pérez

I hope it satin. Satin is more humane.

Michele Pérez

I remember when this movie came out. It was like a big deal. It was Eddie Murphy's first feature film directorial role. He also wrote, produced, and starred in the movie. It also allowed him the opportunity to work with his comedic idol, Richard Pryor. Let’s talk about the costumes. Whoever was in charge of that, did a magnificent job. https://www.filmaffinity.com/us/fullcredits.php?movie_id=578695

Dan Gershgol

This was great. So glad I got around to seeing it.

Robin

Movie suggestions for this month! The Gentleman 2019 Now You See Me 2013 Pretty in Pink 1986 Pretty Woman 1990

JL Green

Since you mentioned how you'd like to go somewhere to enjoy a little saxophone music how about combining that with a great movie? I'm thinking specifically of the jazz movie "Round Midnight ".

JL Green

BTW the man who complained about losing the number was in real life the famous dancer Sandman Sims. He was very well known as a master tap dancer.

timemachineseven

Check out another movie called "A Rage in Harlem".

SlimTim2

Who was also (if u go back in memory) was the "CHALLENGE" guy/tap dance instructor for Rudy on the Codby Show!!

SlimTim2

Yeeaaaa, i thought was a funny & clever way to pay homage to her!! 💯
