My theory is the guy was real but everything after waking up in the psychiatric hospital was fake and of course Gemma was fake the entire time. The guy was actually texting Skye and I believe Skye really did go to the bar and speak to him but that may have been her last chance to take care of the demon. After she returned from the bar the demon took over her body when it stuck it's hand down her throat and she never came back to reality until she was on stage. Also, Idk if you guys remember but the only confirmed way to survive the demon is to kill someone in front of someone else, it has to be bloody, and the cop did so in front of Lewis which is why Lewis was cursed. The cop survived the curse but he just happened to run in the street when a car came. The person burning at the opening of the movie was a hallucination of the therapist from the first film who killed herself in front of the cop.

One of the best sequels ever! Naomi killed this role. I believe the general consensus is that everything that happened to Skye was "real" (obviously, she is experiencing delusions, but it is actually happening), and Morris was real too but after she met with him and he told her what was happening and how to stop it, the demon said "oh hell naw..." and attacked her in her apartment with her dancers and took control of her body/mind completely by entering her body. So, everything happens from there, basically the last 30 minutes, is happening in Skye's head, meanwhile in reality, she's just in auto pilot to get to the tour, which is where the demon releases her on stage so it can have her kill herself in front of the entire crowd. The demon even said to her while in the freezer, 'I like wearing your skin' and 'Ive been waiting for you for such a long time'. Poor girl didn't stand a chance lol.

More laughs than screams, but i get it! It was more nervous laughter than "haw-haw" laughter. I hope Black Phone 2 is next! Its a good sequel, like this.

BJ when you said you know who that looks like? About Paul? Were you gonna say Jack Nicolson? Because if you were, I recently found out that he’s the son of Jack Nicolson. He looks uncannily like his father when he smiles. I saw him in a great movie called Borderline. Check it out if you can. It’s a thriller.

This was my 2nd time seeing it. Damn it’s good. The stunts, the shots. I did not care much for the first but I remember that scene where she sees Jack Nicholson’s son, which BJ caught but did not say lol confidence!!!!! Haha but that scene where she’s reading the prompter and the whole stop smiling at me…. Top tier performance and directing. Hope Parker Finn comes back for round 3.

Movies haven't scared me since I was little, I was forced to watch them a lot by my older sister. I recall being afraid of the thing, original version, but now I LOVE that movie. This movie was pretty dumb tho, nothing new to add to first one, was same scenario same nonsense.
