Dexter has zero hesitation. Never flinches, never questions. Goes in 100%. Primal brain with no thought of consequence. Size doesn't matter when you're like that. Most of us have a conscience and don't have the stomach to do something like stab a guy through with a pitchfork without thinking or restraint. It's his psychopathic brain that keeps him protected when squaring off with even the biggest of guys. It's like he exploits the seconds of hesitation the man with the gun displays without a second thought.

I remember when y'all finished watching the very first episode of Dexter. You were like "I don't know how I feel about Dexter; he kills people" ... now look at you ... you two are blood thirsty ... you want Dexter to kill everyone!!! 😂😂😂 I love it!!! Keep it up =)

Dexter goes to Nebraska to let lose and give into his darkness being that of the form of Brian. Realizing that Jonah had experienced similar to what Trinity did with his sisters suicide and his mothers fixation for Arthur to return and take her, inevitably being killed by Jonah. Dexter realized that he didn’t exactly free him.. telling Jonah what he had to do in order to get over killing his brother in season 2 “Forgive yourself”. His battle with himself led to him returning to Miami picking up some light on the way. (Quick side note) I like how Deb says Travis wasn’t close with his sister and yet Dexter is the same with her. But it’s almost like Brian was supposed to be a message to something. I wonder what?🤔🤔🤫🤫🤫

BJ isn't having it with Quinn!!! OMG his reaction was hilarious when Deb and Quinn had their little moment!! lol! These episodes were crazy! Again I hardly remember anything after season 4... man Rita's death really must have messed me up too back then!! lol!! I wish Dexter would just be more open with Deb, like he's really avoiding her a lot lately... and I know that this was during the time the actual actors got separated in real life BUT still... she's is literally the only person he has at the end of the day.. besides Harrison but you know what I mean lol!! Can't wait for the next Dexter drop... and horror film!! :)

I hate that Deb seems so needy all the time. She has grown and should be way past all that. This is the storyline upcoming that, for me, almost jumped the shark, if I didn't love Dexter so much.

Ugh, the road-trip episode. My husband and I both felt that was the worst one in the series. We love Dexter but this seemed like the biggest “filler” or “killing time” episode ever. One thing I can appreciate is how the two of you are using movie references now. “As long as it’s not room number one!” When he gave him the room key. And “if you build it, he will come” when they were in the corn field. I love it. You are my generation now!

totally agree seemed like it was trying to do a "pine barrens" sorta thing with brain and dexter. didnt work nearly as well as other shows episodes like this. but jonah meeting dexter saying "hello, dexter morgan" when he finds out who he really was just like how his dad did is a great moment

im a male and by the time S5 finale came and went i was like 'okay, Quinn... you and dexter have a mutual unspoken understanding.' and i liked seeing quinn go from being afraid of comittment in S4 to wanting to put all in for Deb - i had hoped they could have had at least 1 good season of being engaged/married
