Let’s go 🔥

Outis

Nacho was NEVER in “Breaking Bad”

Zima Roo

I think Kim's reaction was because she was upset that she'd assumed Chuck's letter was going to be cruel and it wasn't and she was also disturbed by Jimmy's lack of emotion

Joe Lazarus

The letter Jimmy was reading from Chuck was from when Jimmy was working in the mail room...way before all that chaos happened between them. Jimmy was just cold, emotionless and unbothered by the letter because he's still hurt and he quite simply has had enough..Obviously he's still dealing with it.. i'm sure he's still remembering Chuck's last words to him which wasn't as pleasant as the letter..."I don't want to hurt your feelings, but the truth is, you've never mattered all that much to me" As for Nacho, he wasn't in Breaking Bad.

Pacmule

Nacho wasn't in BB but Saul said his name along with Lalo when Walt and Jesse kidnapped Saul and put him on he's knees in front of the grave site in episode 2.08 "Better Call Saul." Saul said to Walt and Jesse "It wasn't me it was Ignacio." The guy your thinking about was named No Doze.

Pacmule

Also the guy who stole the Bavarian Boy was the same guy in BB who owned the pest company that Walt, Jesse and Mike used to cook the meth in those tarped houses in season 5

Adam

Nacho was never in breaking bad.

I guess Saul wasn’t lying when he said he helped Ira legally for five years. I guess he forgot to mention he literally did help him out😂😂. For those who didn’t notice, that was Ira the burglar who later on runs Vámonos Pest in BB. Also Nacho wasn’t in BB but he did cause something that helped a lot in BB. But after Jimmy’s reaction to the letter that’s where I began to hate him on my first watch through😂😂. Also Mike and the lady he was with at his breakfast had a similar interaction to that of what Walter and Skylar had when they first spoke to each other with the crossword puzzle but the answer was immediately given instead of being asked for. Mike being Mike is real about things and out there but he also has respect too so when Henry is brought up in casual conversation, he brings up he’s a liar and makes a deal with her. When at the meeting he tried to do what he does being respectful and keeping quiet but ends up speaking the truth that nobody likes to hear because he’s sick of it and they asked. So he continues to be alone when he probably could’ve dated her if he would’ve kept his mouth shut like Walter did for “50 years”. But Mike speaks his mind, though he was also a bit ticked that Stacey forgot about Matt, he also hit his limit with Henry and the group so he put it out there cause they did ask for it even though he said they wouldn’t like it.

Bill B.

Correct. If you guys want to go back and watch the scene when Tuco killed No Doze in the junkyard it is the last scene of the last episode of season 1.

Sredna

Pretty sure jimmy is hurting. Didnt take the first job offer and only took the second one as an excuse to not go to therapy. Also think that him going back to "slipping jimmy" is a parallel to chucks "electric sensitivity" spiking whenever things went bad for chuck. Just my theory 😅

Bill B.

I had forgotten about that scene with the Salamanca twins going wild against that other gang. Makes me respect Hank a hell of a lot more!

Miss Melissa

I think the combination of Chuck’s death and Kim’s accident has really shaken her up and made her think about what’s important in life. Jimmy’s way of processing grief is to backslide into grifting while blocking off his emotions. Kim’s more open emotionally and I think she’s starting to realize that the corporate type of work she is doing isn’t fulfilling her. She seems to be searching for some meaning - that’s why she went to the courthouse. I think she’s thinking about ways she can use her skills to made a difference.

Clockwork360

Except for that famous throw away line that actually brought him and another into existance

William Abbott

Nacho was not that guy from Breaking bad

Kingshawukee

Nacho wasn't in Breaking Bad, that was No Doze... And in case you didn't realize, Crazy 8 is the guy Nacho beat up when he came up short with money a few episodes back.

Jake Martin

That's an interesting parallel. I didn't think of it like that when I originally watched this, but it makes sense

Jake Martin

Damn, I didn't catch that one on the first go-round. Good call

Cindy Beach

When Kevin from Mesa Verde said “We have a chance to make a real difference here, Kim” she looked at all those bank models and thought “Really?, banks?” Then she went to court, where real people need real help. She’s had a wake up call. Everyone thinks they remember Nacho being in BB, but he wasn’t. Your brain wants it so bad, right? I know!

Jesse

Recognize the guy Jimmy hired to steal the Bavarian Boy? That’s Ira yo. He would later own a little pest control company that Mr. White would use as a “cover” to cook his famous blue crystal. Too bad he hired someone like Todd. That dead-eyed opie peace of sh#t. Great episode though. Thanks

N M

Nacho was never in Breaking Bad! lol

pkleo73

why'd ya spoil it? I was enjoying the fact that no one focused on that.

CS

Yeah I think we started getting a picture into her mind a couple episodes ago when she sarcastically talked about "helping a midsized local bank become a midsized regional bank." Here when Kevin was showing off his little bank models and was like "this is what it's all about", I think that's when it fully dawned on her that this is not fulfilling to her.

CS

Nacho is at least a couple levels higher up the foodchain than No Doze too. I don't think Tuco would be treating Nacho like that.

Kingshawukee

Yea I don't understand why people are talking about that scene 🤷

CS

And PS for no particularly meaningful reason other than a small FYI for anybody that didn't know - he's called "Nacho" as a nickname because "Nacho" is short for "Ignacio", not like nacho tortilla chips.

Josh

The burglar that helped Jimmy make the switch was the guy that worked at Vamonos Pest in "Breaking Bad." He was the boss of Todd, tenting up houses

Josh

The shoot out scene with Twins was crazy. Just shows how much of a boss Hank was, to have taken them both out

Cynthia M Farrington

Chuck wrote a nice letter, but he didn’t express his true feelings towards Jimmy. The act of leaving him $5,000 out of his millions better expressed his real feelings towards Jimmy. Kim doesn’t really understand the bad blood between them. I think Jimmy did truly care about Chuck, but Chuck never did tell him what their mother’s last words were before she died. Chuck never understood how their father drove his shop into bankruptcy, not Jimmy. He blamed the loss of the business and the death of their father on Jimmy. When the doctors wanted to have Chuck committed it was only because Jimmy said no that enabled Chuck to stay at home and live as he chose. Jimmy delivered his supplies for years out of love and gratitude for the help Chuck gave him by giving him the job in the mail room, but Chuck never expected Jimmy to become his peer. I think he was just playing at being the valiant big brother to make himself look good. I wouldn’t shed any tears over a jealous, self absorbed phony like Chuck either. His wife divorced him before he even became “sensitive to electromagnetic impulses”. What a strange personality the writers cooked up.

Aqua

But he was mentioned.

Dan Gonya

Look, if it's my job to vacuum the house, and someone got me a top of the line vacuum cleaner, I'm gonna be pleased as punch. But I guess men are different than women. For instance, if my wife bought me an awesome zero turn radius ride-on lawn mower, I would love it! What gives ladies?!

Dan Gonya

Nacho never showed up in Breaking Bad. His name is mentioned by Saul when Jessi and Walt kidnapped him and held him off a cliff, but we never see him. Tuco beat gGonzo to death in the junkyard.

tempest

Chuck broke Jimmy. Drove him 'bad'. He's entirely disconnected and has accepted the fact that he is on his own, entirely responsible of himself with no family.

Daniel Moskowitz

I think Kim is reacting to Jimmy's new emotions scar. His new wall that's been erected due to the trauma he experienced through his relationship with Chuck

Nick Kessler

It does progress slowly until now. From here to the last credit role you are in breaking bad quality balls out territory!

Nick Kessler

I know I am a year late but Kim is crying because she was worried rightfully so that Chuck would be stabbing jimmy again from the grave with the letter. She was afraid to give him the letter. She doesn't know some of the stuff chuck said to jimmy that made jimmy not give a f anymore. "you never really mattered that much to me" saying that to your brother will make your brother not give a fuck when you kill yourself if anything can. That's why chuck's letter doesn't really faze jimmy. Not to menion him being worth 10-20 million and only leaving his bro 5k...

LINUS

i think im cried becuase she was so worried chuck was going to say something to hurt Jimmy and she was so stressed out and to hear he said something nice it was a big relief -- OR, what i just thought about since this is only my 2nd watch thru of the show - im wondering if she opened the original letter and had her assistant re-write one that was nice (maybe the real letter was mean, etc telling jimmy his dying wish is for jimmy to stop practicing law etc) idk though.
