All good movies 🙌 I'm hoping more votes will go to Million Dollar Baby, which Clint Eastwood Directed, Produced, and Stared In. 7 Academy Awards nominations. It won Best Picture, Best Director (Clint Eastwood), Best Actress (Hillary Swank), and Best Supporting Actor (Morgan Freeman). I can't think of any other movie like it. It's could probably be thematically aligned with Rocky, but they're still very different movies.

Maybe one day this would be a great one to watch. SOMETHING WILD. 1980s young Ray Liotta Goodfellas. Dark comedy. A pretty woman who steals and hustles gets a nice guy in NY take her down south to see her mom and it gets Wild. Great movie trust me

Rain Man and Scarface are classics for a reason. The rest on that list are good action/sci fi films, but those really are a dime a dozen if we're being honest. The Usual Suspects, Lawrence of Arabia, Duck Soup, Bridge Over the River Kwai are classics. Old school classics. Reds is a good one too, Warren Beatty, Diane Keaton.

I only watch reactions to movies I've seen and liked. Bourne is my #1 on the list you have here. I saw Scarface and don't remember much of it all; obviously didn't make an impression on me. I considered Rain Man and Million Dollar Baby (great cast for both!), and I Remember the Titans but I think you'll like the action of Bourne better. The others I've never seen.

We're deep into the poll now :) A lot of great suggestions are coming through; I echo Carlitos Way because that's a criminally under-rated picture in which Pacino shines in one of his lesser known roles. I'm surprised to see Scarface being beaten out so far by Bourne and The Titans; both are superb anyway and it will be great to see you guys review either of them. I am disappointed that Long Kiss is coming up with only 5% cause it's such a fun film and you would both have a damned good time with it. Geena Davis has only made one better film (Thelma & Louise) and Samuel L. is at his wise-cracking best. Amazingly, in a short span of time Brian Cox almost steals the movie from both of them tho! It has a fabulous storyline and, actually, is similar in some ways to the movie that's out in front here; The Bourne Identity. Both tell the story of someone suffering amnesia and who slowly but surely starts to emerge into their forgotten personna ... and what a wild ride they, and the audience, are in for when that persona comes fully online! I'll bet you when you watch Bourne (for it will surely win now) you're gonna get even more recommends for The Long Kiss Goodnight!

Those old school classics (Lawrence of Arabia, Bridge Over the River Kwai etc) would never win a poll...they'd have to do an all "Old school" poll. I would throw in there Stanley Kubrick's "Spartacus" and maybe a classic comedy perhaps like "Some like it Hot" (Marilyn Monroe).

Guys - if you’re still thinking about what to watch, and would consider an altogether different movie which would be perfect for Thanksgiving, consider SCENT OF A WOMAN (1992) with Al Pacino and Chris O’Donnell. Al Pacino won an Oscar for BEST ACTOR for his role in this film.

Some of my favorite films are the shining, the godfather part 2,apocalypse now, there will be blood, pulp fiction, no country for old men, lost in translation in no particular order. I decided to vote for million dollar baby purely for the directing of Clint Eastwood and the acting of Hillary swank. However, this story is such a downer, but it is a good film. It looks like remember the Titans won which is okay. It's not a great film. It's pretty much just fluff, but I know people love it. It's very much the typical sports movie with some racial drama mixed in. I hope you guys enjoy it

Heather I agree most of this film was excellent. There are 2 problems with it I think. First of all the last portion of the film is brutal. Plus no response toward the fighter who illegally seriously injures her was terrible idea. Secondly that was not an actress she was a professional fighter and for years was unbeatable albeit fought sparingly but overpowered other females there was talk maybe she was truly a man. Ironically near the end of her/his career challenged a pedestrian male fighter. She started well but then was hurt and went to the floor the fight was stopped. The storyline and the use of this real controversial fighter made it pretty disturbing. Why Clint?

I understand what sounds like frustration over how what appears as people being easily manipulated, and that may be true. However there are some people like me who have never felt like any award program was telling me what to like. Instead I saw them more as a way of acknowledging the extraordinary accomplishments of people in the arts. The film mentioned that you a bit directly confronted did win lots of Oscar because it’s full of extraordinary artistic accomplishments all in one film. Please have a very good night.
