Moulinette Media Search — v14.1.0 is out (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

A new update for Moulinette Media Search, focused on making the Browser faster and easier to navigate — especially if you're digging through packs with a lot of subfolders.

Faster behind the scenes

We've spent time optimizing the Moulinette Cloud servers themselves. Searching for assets and browsing through a creator's packs one after another should both feel noticeably snappier now, especially on larger searches — nothing you need to do, it just works faster.

Folder tree view

The folders filter used to be one long flat list of every folder in a pack, which got unwieldy fast for packs with a deep or complex structure. It's now a proper collapsible tree: folders start collapsed, and expanding one is instant — no more scrolling through hundreds of paths to find the one you want. Selecting a folder still shows everything inside it, subfolders included, exactly as before.

Whole word search

The search bar has a new toggle to match whole words only, instead of the default "contains" behavior. Handy when a partial match pulls in a lot of noise.

Browse this pack

For cloud assets you already have access to, there's now a "Browse this pack" action that jumps straight to browsing everything else from that creator and pack, instead of only linking out to support them.

Translations

The module UI is now available in French, German and Spanish, in addition to English.

Fixes

- The Browser could get stuck after loading only the first 100 results if your window was large enough that no scrollbar ever appeared, with no way to load more without resizing the window. It now keeps loading until it actually runs out of content.

- Fixed a crash when dropping an image as a token on Foundry v13/v14.

- Cleaned up console warnings about deprecated Foundry APIs (`CanvasLayer`, `KeyboardManager`).

How to update

Update Moulinette Media Search (by Moulinette) from Foundry's Add-on Modules tab as usual. If you manage modules manually, the manifest is:

As a reminder, some collections (like the private Moulinette Cloud packs) require an active Moulinette subscription.
