Moulinette Media Search is now on Owlbear Rodeo! (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

I am SUPER excited to announce that Moulinette is expanding to a brand new platform: Owlbear Rodeo! Moulinette Media Search is no longer just a FoundryVTT thing — it's now available as an Owlbear extension too, and this has been a long time coming. Same idea as on Foundry: search, preview and drop maps, images and icons onto your scene without leaving the game.

Browse and search maps and images from Moulinette Cloud — your own content and content from creators you support. Filter by type, creator or pack, preview before adding, and drop what you pick straight into your Owlbear asset library, ready to place on the map.

Game-icons.net, recolorable

Search the thousands of icons from game-icons.net and recolor them (foreground and background) before adding them to the scene — handy for tokens, markers and status effects.

A quick note for creators

If you're one of the amazing creators whose content lives on Moulinette Cloud, good news: your maps, images and packs are already available on Owlbear Rodeo too, automatically — no re-upload, no extra work, nothing to configure on your end. If you have an audience there, it would mean a lot if you let them know Moulinette now works on Owlbear Rodeo — a quick post on your own channels really helps this new platform take off.

How to install

Owlbear Rodeo extensions are added by URL, not through a store listing yet:

1. In Owlbear Rodeo, open the profile menu → *Add Extension*.

2. Paste this URL:

3. The Moulinette icon shows up in your toolbar — click it to open the browser.
